evening Fran :) had about 4 minutes before my webinar started so thought I pop in... did find an excellent article how how to do the IV for pets for exactly this situation like Fayes... but no one saids what type of IV fluid you should get just for hydration or is you could get an empty bag...- PatriciafromCO

hugs CM :) your right to insist to see a doctor ... the vet clinic has really gotten so impersonal over the years.. Faye has "needed" a vet twice in her 14+ years of life... I do my best to keep an open communication that no they don't need all the things a vet requires to have a rotating...- PatriciafromCO

lol feel like the drama queen of the group lol ... All the dogs are back in I had them separated from Faye and me since she was upset over them hovering around her.. morning ... survived the night heater could not keep up with the temps so it's like 40's in the house "not pleasant" at all I had to wrap old Ra up in a sleeping bag as he was shivering too... Thanks,, and yes the fluffy one is Arka man... gosh I love Arka he decided to be a lap dog yesterday when I was on the futon.. I just laughed and laughed and laughed as he had some sorta ostrich move going on with his head down into the futon on one side of me and his .... up in the air before...- PatriciafromCO

I was going to go up and visit with Faye at the vet clinic, not knowing how the storm would pan out I was going to leave her there where she could get help is unexpectantly she would of needed it, struggled all night long about not getting caught up in the storm myself. A good New Year's Topic? Rocking the Silver

update on Faye, she is eating on her own today 2 cans so far,, lol . ultra sound looked good and she peed on her own am scheduled to pick her up for the weekend with a vet check blood work on Monday.. she had a uterus infection, thought I would be able to bring her home today, but she hasn't been able to keep food down , she is alert, wagging her tail, getting up for the staff to go outside and potty. They just don't want to send her home until they are sure she is eating so I will go see...- PatriciafromCO
