yes it took forever, they make them overseas and ship them back here,, then ship them to you.. It's a really really nice gate !!! no complaints,, wanted to add.. that I tried to find a US company and even one in my state,, no one was ever in the office to answer phones and no one returned...- PatriciafromCO
