Agreed - it does appear to be on the output side. The P3 center pin has an orange o-ring which is intact and the pin is sitting well above the surface of the connector. By adapter, I'm guessing you mean the Kabuki - same error with it removed from the Radius. Ah - re-read your note - the... -

As part of my attempts to fix this, I changed the supplied 3000 mA battery for a fully charged AW 18650 2200mA battery (from Provape) and inspected the battery compartment - same high current error. It's almost 2 am and I'm enjoying a 2.5 with a Nautilus on top, so apart from insomnia life goes... -

Good thought - appreciated! Problem is that the fault occurs with nothing connected to the P3 on the Radius - HIGH CURRENT / change atty. The P3 connector is clean and open - there should be zero current flowing in that state. The ohm meter showed 1.6 ohms across the Kabuki P3 connection, so... -

Thanks for the suggestion, John - inspected very carefully and cleaned with 99% isopropyl. I think it has to be an internal fault and if so, I'm disappointed to have spent $250 and received a non-functioning unit. I did not expect that from Provape. -

I just received a Russian 91% V2 from Mt Baker - it had a screw in a little plastic bag taped to the box - BUT - the screw (which has a slotted head) does not have any holes drilled in it horizontally, which the original has. Will this work, or have they made a mistake?- AAGF

Speaking of the ZMAX, can anyone describe how to take it apart? Mine has the 501 connector sitting very low, so that when my tank is screwed gently so that it's snug, the base of the tank (Smoktech) is flush with the top of the mod and the airflow is negligible, until the tank is backed off to a...- AAGF

I currently have three of the Smok locking DCTs, using Smok flanged cartos (one and two hole punched) - all working just as it says on the tin.- AAGF

8 ml, 5 running down my arm
I like the Smok flanged cartos, BUT, I use them in the Smok Locking XL Tanks - which stop the tank from sliding up or down the carto. I have three of these tanks/carto combinations working perfectly.- AAGF

Why do we refer to all tanks as "DCT"?
Another vote for the Smoktech locking XL DCT with the Smok 2 ohm single coil / single punch XL cartos - I have three of them and they work well for me ...- AAGF
