    Cleaning and Maintenance for the prodigy and PT

    Anyone tried taking the switch off and batteries out of the prodigy and running it through the dishwasher? I am just saying, i think about that every dang time i do the dishes. I think it should be fine, and should get it pretty clean, haha. Or maybe i will be order a new prodigy next week...

    The resistor aka the round white-ish cylinder on the side of your switch housing should have a wire coming out of both ends. Gibby

    The general consensus has been to use the ones that come with the prodigy. The other 3v blue tenergy's have a different max output when fully charged and have caused problems for a few people, blowing atty's inconsistent flavor etc etc.. best bet is just to stick with the grey/yellow ones...

    The Protege has landed !!!!

    The protege takes 3.7v 14500's. Prodigy takes 2 CR123A's Tenergy LifePo4 750mah. Nice we finally have a protege in someones hand besides Steve. Sooooo, how bout pictures? haha, j/k. i know you said you puttin them up soon. Gibby

    You may be able to adjust your center post out enough to allow airflow through the threads of the adapter into the bottom of the atty. I don't use them though, so i would wait til someone who uses them answers before pulling out the drill or hammer. Gibby

    Master ON/OFF switch?

    The switch never creates a problem, i keep mine in my pocket constantly and have no issues. You have to depress the button lower than the plain that the plastic surrounding it, so it going off in your pocket, bag, case, etc etc, isn't much of an issue. Some people have had problems with it...

    Protege News

    It comes with a mouth piece on its atty (same as a cart, but no cotton stuff to hold luquid). It doesn't come with fill-able carts. Its primarily used for dripping right onto the atty. Dripping is a LOT better. Just be careful while you are driving. Gibby

    Will it work. Yes Will you go through more atty's that way. yes your measurements are close, the "fully charged" output of the batteries doesn't last that long mind you. I have heard quite a few people say that went through atty's like they were going out of style using 2 3.7v batteries. V/R...
