    prodigy and atomizers

I didn't say they were user error. Whether they are or not depends on to whom you are talking. I stated "some things to minimize your atty risk". As far as the center post on the adapter being too high, that is obviously not user error. How could it be, the user didn't manufacture the...

    901/510 Pass through

Heh, i guess i am a cheap date, i used a peewee from the get go, that was jan, haven't smoked since. I have switched to different e-cigs here and there. I have a prodigy 801 now, and don't plan on switching to anything else. Well, until Steve gets the american made atty out. Gibby

The Prodigy Blowing Atomizers [Fact vs. Fiction]

Haha, yeah i wish i could say the same, i am on my 2nd, but it was from running it too dry. typical, but here is what happened. had dead batteries flooded it, thinking it was too dry (when it was really the batteries) realized it was the batteries, so i switched them blew out the atty, and...

The Prodigy Blowing Atomizers [Fact vs. Fiction]

Along those lines. I have derived a way that i personally use to determine if my atty is dry (aside from the obvious flavor difference, but a lot of people aren't attentive enough to notice this before its too late). i use the following steps. 1. Hold the button down briefly, and listen for...

    prodigy and atomizers

I think most of it can be user error. a few things to minimize your atty risk 1. Don't screw it on too tight. snug it up, you can feel it when it makes contact. When it does STOP, its tight enough at that point. You cannot screw the atty's onto the prodigy like you used to screw it onto your...

    Quick Atomizer Question

Another thing you could try is adjusting your center post. If it was connecting before, the post may have gotten knocked one way or the other in a manner that doesn't let it connect to the atty that you are trying to use. You can find these instructions in the troubleshooting thread if you...

    Quick Atomizer Question

I use q-tips to get rid of the liquid that may be hanging around on your threads and connections. If you see something caked up on anything trying wiping with a paper towel. Lastly, if you think there still might be some build up preventing your atomizer from working, and you have removed all...

    Quick Atomizer Question

clean connections and threads if you haven't already. Did you try it on the prodigy before? If you haven't then it might the the center post issue discussed in the troubleshooting forum.

    Dripping with the Prodigy

Taking normal "smoke breaks" it lasts a full day at work (taking a regular "smoke" break about every hour), and up until about 8 that night. I vape a lot more at home though. Non-stop i would expect the battery to last no more than about 5 hours. Gibby

Prodigy will also work with Cr2 batteries

RCR123 max is 3.2, min is like 2.2 (or something like that), so yeah you will get a little more on a freshly charged 123, but not too much. If you are using a more "strict", so to speak, 3v battery, then it will give you a cooler vapor. Good find though, are they cheaper?

Timing: press switch, suck, release switch, stop suck?

exactly, let it go about 1 second before stopping. Definitely start right before you start though. Gibby

Strange issue with passthrough on my computer

Cisco certified is a good idea. I brought this up in a previous post, but if you were worried about the power consumption of the PT, you could get a USB hub with an AC power supply. just make sure it has a max output of 5v or a little less. I have one that i am going to try, i will let you...

Which would you recommend for a first PV: Prodigy or Protege?

It depends, most will if you plug it directly into your computer. I wouldn't plug it into a USB hub, unless your USB Hub has an AC plug (this is actually the way to go). If you experience poor performance on your other USB devices, then get a USB hub with an AC plug. What it will do is...

Which would you recommend for a first PV: Prodigy or Protege?

I must agree with most here and say: It may be best to start with something that resembles an analog before going with something that is designed for vapors that just want good vapor. It will make your transition from analogs a lot smoother. On the other hand, the dang vapor on the prodigy is...

    Versions of the RCR123A batteries

I got 2 more of these kits also, but have a concern. Anyone else having any problems with the tenergy batteries not charging. I charge mine by first inserting one battery, watching the light turn orange to make sure its charging. I then remove that battery slightly, just enough to let the...

    Prodigy Shipping Thread...

I second that emotion. Its amazing, and no degradation in performance after a week of heavy heavy heavy vaping. thats more than i am used to...not sure if i should risk using this other kind of juice that i have, which is known to be really hard on HW. I have a lot of it though cause PS was...
