    On a side note, but has anyone noticed that Dennis's sig isn't accurate, its close but no banana, I think his intention was to take the word "rifle" out of the rifleman's creed, and replace it with "chuck", but there is one word that is wrong.... Who can get??? Gibby

    I like hearing that as well, but not if its already obvious that he is probably not gonna be happy unless Steve goes back in time, and makes sure that his Protege works the first time he attempts to use it. Do you have it working yet btw???

    heh, it could happen, wouldn't be too hard to twist the end here or there to get it to work again. Hasn't been an issue since i fixed my spring really. Unless you have forgotten most of us used to have to light cigarettes while we are driving, so fiddling around with an adapter, or battery...

    Haha, well, a lot of people did actually, after a couple of failed attempts at trying to screw their atty's all the way down to the bottom of the adapter, and tearing them apart.

    oh geez come on, Its a mod, there are connection points that are always going to take some finagling, the prodigy has 5 connection points, the protege 4, there you go. New or not, you will have to get used to it, that's all there is to it. It really does suck that some new to the products...

    It is a fluke, if he fiddles around with it enough i think he will be able to get it working. I have every PS product they have made, and have had no issues. Did i have to assemble/reassemble, tighten/loosen, mess around with some stuff to get some of it to work??? Absolutely. This thread...

    Well, The protege, prodigy, and whatever else is come out with is a bit different, those are a lot more easily supported, as there all parts are replaceable, and its easy to find the component that is the problem. PT however, its a bit different, if you for some reason, snap that connection...

We were all gung hoe about PT's, until we relized, the step we use within the Protege won't work with the PT, do to the fact the plastic will just slide down the tube (without a stop in it like a battery) We had to order more material, seperate from Protege...

    Sure, but from a business standpoint, its a 70 dollar peice of equipment (considering the replacement will be 70 bucks, even though its not the exact same item), its not like they make millions and have a support staff of people that only handle repairs, it would probably cost as much for them...
