After doing some extensive searching it's about the only thing available for home use to get accurate readings on large cells.
Thanks, only had my first mod (Vamo) for less than a month now so still in the learning curve.
I'm also taking some other advice and letting the batteries set for around a day after charging.

Quick OT safety question please.
Getting in the habit of checking my batteries when they come off the charger and they are reading 4.25v.
Is this a little high for 18650 unprotected batteries?
Charger is Trustfire-001 until I can get a better one.

I started with an eGo-T and upgraded to the -C option later. Many consider it outdated but it still works great.
About the only thing I can add is a very strong recommendation to get a passthrough battery, they come in standard or VV...
First off congratulations on joining the vaping ranks and cutting down on the analogs. In time you will likely be totally analog free, but don't rush it, less stress = higher success rates for most.
