voila the spring that fits my design... i'd just need to measure to see if the 1/4 inch spring or the 1/2 (length) would be workable... i truly though of the manufacturing process in making the housing while designing it... other than needing a tiny lathe... it was the best way i could think of :-P- them0nk

Quick Idea/Question... Adapters/Buttons
If you make the button "the same" for the protege and prodigy v2... would you also make the adapters the same? (if they're the same) Not such a bad idea to be able to use the same adapters & buttons... the larger the production run of the same part... need i say more :-P Only issue i can think...- them0nk

seeing the numbers and measurements of that makes me think they're WAY too big... and it's much harder to cut a circular slot like that then plunging an endmill... just my $2/100- them0nk

i think the problem with the resistance might be finding the right metal to get it... and that varies with temperature as well... at room temperature it will be one thing, and at another it will be something else.- them0nk

The more I read the more I like.

i don't know why your #s are coming out so differently. i think that the package dimensions you're giving are throwing it off... if you give it dimensions like that it will think you're sending a box with those demensions. it's not accurate for a padded envelope. i even changed the postal code... -
