I hope you ment to say CARTOS are a disposable item. At $10 a pop (for Cisco 306 1.5ohm) I would hate to think of them as disposable. Or almost $20 for a HH357.
Wow...you only soak them for an hour or so. Thats good news as both my 306 Ciscos have had about 18 ml thru them (with some dark juice) and needed cleaning. I tried a carto and a 2 ohm smoketech...I cant go back....
Im going to try that with one of my ciscos now...blow out..let soak...
Ok... I will do that. I HOPE they last more than just two weeks.
With Cartos I would go through about 1 carto every 3 days. So in 14 days that would be 5 - 6 cartos. At $4.99 a box of 5...it would be FAR cheaper for me to just use Cartos and change them every 2 days.
I can say that AVE ROOTBEER started good in my 306 1.5ohm...but after a bottle of it, the juice started tasting burnt. I switched to BWB Blueberry and even after running 1/2 a bottle thru the atty it was still slightly burnt, and the juice in the atty was a dark brown still (that I could see...
Funny...with my 306 I just squonk long enough to get a gurgle. I wil also see a bit of juice thru the drip tip (exposed bridge on the CISCO 306). I just let the juice settle back down from the atty to the well...and dont notice any kind of flooding. Now on my Smoketech 510's...I notice...
Thats the problem with making something as awesome as the Reo! As far as Im concerned...if there was a YEAR waiting list to get a Grand VV or Mini VW/VV I would GLADLY wait that long!
Do what you can, when you can Robert...there is no rushing perfection!!
First WELCOME to REOVILLE.
After using a BuzzPro for 6 months and now using my Reo Grand for a week...the only MINOR critisim I have is
1) I wish the Reo Grand had a magnet at the bottom to keep the door from rattling. Its not bad, and Im already use to it.
2) as others have side the...
Well...I have vaped 3 juices so far in my 1 atty..and I have to say I LOVE IT. It only takes about 2 squonks worth of juice to clear the previous out. And the last was a very thick VG Rootbeer from AVE that tends to linger.
Can you also use a grain alcohol to soak attys? I definately...
Thanks guys.... thought about the freezer thing (kinda like when you remove a bearing from its race...cool the bearing and heat the race..except I cant heat the drip tip).
Ok so recommendations for some nice 306 drip tips guys/gals?? I have not only left 510 cartos behind, but 510 attys as...
Ahhh... Now I see why we think the same. Im an aircraft mechanic by trade (hence the screen name FAAmecanic). Something about holding a well machined hunk of aluminum in your hand and being able to vape from it is just AWESOME.
So from one gear-head to another, and one new reonaut to...
Soooo...any tricks to take the drip tip off this bad boy. It is FIRMLY attached now.
Also...what do you all do between juices to clear your atty?? So you vape through the old juice? Remove and wash your atty?
And the inside with one of my old standby juices.... Halo Malibu Menthol....note its almost empty. Was full about 5 hours ago....YUM (next up is either Bobas bounty or Don's Backwoods Brew Blueberry)
As promised pics of my new and favorite PV.... Im SOOO a reonaut now that I have a Cisco 1.5 Ohm atty rocking this Grand. I will NEVER EVER go back to cartomizers. YUCK!
Im sooooo in love with my Grand. Thanks Robert for making this simplistic, yet most functional e-cig mod on the market today.
And now a VV grand!!!! Oh...my aching bank account.... sign me up for one!!!!
OMG!!! Got my Cicso 1.5 Ohm 306's today..... WOW WOW WOW WOW .... this Reo Grand vapes like a 5 v on a 2 ohm (without the burnt taste).
Right out of the box and not even broke in yet and my computer room looks like a ROCK concert with all the fog. and the taste.... WOW.
That was my understanding...the VV woodvilles use Notcigs circuitry. With that said my Buzzpro has that circuitry in it and when the batts get to the point where they can no longer supply the voltage you are asking for they just stop firing, vs draining the batt.
Wait...I thought with the newer batteries you didnt have to worry abou things like letting the voltage drop too low between charging, or a battery getting a memory if you let it sit half charged....
Ya..they do say on the website (I think..or maybe the video) that the HH357 has a break in period of a few hours. I have noticed the same with the cheapy smoketechs. They dont seem as strong until after a few hours of vaping...then they get better.
Tried the smoketech I got from Rob on my Buzzpro at 5.0v..... works GREAT. I have never been a dripper (kept making a mess)... but now I have been using my REO, I can never go back to using cartos. And the cool thing is I think the Reo also taught me how to drip better as I didnt make a mess...
