    so last night i tried again with the cotton wick. wow, what a difference. i took this threads advice and used basically the smallest amount i could possibly make into a wick. So much better. A little goes a long way.

    I was not sure what the double winding does? I assume it acts like a no resistance wire to take the heat off the legs? Is it recommended and will it change the resistance?
