    It's only bad if they explode. :lol: Seriously though, most manufacturers recommend charging the batteries 8 hours the first time anyway. I don't think there would be any harm in doing it other times. I leave batteries charging overnight, and have not had any issues.

    It sounds like the carto filler still has water in it. If the filler is not completely dry before filling, you'll hear the atty working and popping, but you'll get no vapor on exhale because water vapor alone dissipates too quickly. Try sealing them in a ziplock bag with plain white rice ...
