need advice on igo w rda battery question!

Hmm... I just did a quick google search on the mod in question, and it has a 12 watt limit. I doubt the mod will be able to fire anything 1 ohm, no matter what battery you have in it. Make sure you test your coils before firing, and I'd build them at 1.3 ohms or higher.

Why I'm fed up with the vape community (mostly)

THAT I don't get. Whatever mod works for you is the best mod for you. It just so happens that collecting a variety of them with various features in each happens to work for me. Keeps me interested, which is what I needed to easily get off of cigarettes I think. I like building coils, I love...

    Help me understand.

I sometimes drip at home, but I can't imagine dripping during my commute. I've been sort of looking at Reo's in the classies, but I really do love my tube shaped mods. They just fit in my hands better. I had an MVP 2 for some time, and I liked it, but after using them exclusively for almost 6...

    Don't Vape. Quit for Good.

I've seen those posters in the subways. Here's my translation: "Use our vaporizer instead of the others!" That's essentially what it is. It's vaporized nicotine, only its sold by a pharmaceutical company.

    First attempt at Patina

I think you did a great job! May not be what you intended, but it looks gorgeous anyway.

Why I'm fed up with the vape community (mostly)

You make several assumptions about people in your OP that just aren't true, and it's natural that people are going to want to point that out to you. There are many on this forum who aren't part of the youthful counter culture, and sub-ohm for various reasons. Further, this "problem" of people...

    Help, Describe My Next Symptom.

Really? I find mine to be easiest RTA to build. Granted, not as easy as a dripper with the posts drilled out, but still quite easy when compared to the Aqua, Kaiser, Foggger V4... The Erlkonigin makes it easy to mount the coil, but wicking is trickier on it. The Heron is slightly more difficult...

    looking for a new RTA

Yilong's Kaiseer is kind if a clone of the Rose. Tiny capacity though, so I don't recommend it OP. The Erlkonigin is a great tank. Holds 6ml, and you can buy metal tanks that hold more then that. You can also buy glass from IBTanked for it and have it painted. No clone for it yet though, so...

Not the sort of news vaping needs right now ...

This could have happened if he used an inappropriate charger to charge his cell phone or laptop as well. Batteries are batteries. Everyone needs to know and remember to use only the chargers that are sold with those batteries. I'm still going to say that charging a battery is still likely to...

    Help, Describe My Next Symptom.

Oh, and you'll be aiming for 1.3 ohm or higher builds with the Kayfun. Microcoils with cotton wicking work best.

My first RBA: Yaaayyy! -(I think)

Yours only came with the metal middle section? No clear, plastic, tank section?

    Help, Describe My Next Symptom.

I went on a similar track with my symptoms. Started with a variable volt, ego type kit and a bottom coil clearo. Within days though, I was using an iTaste VVv3 topped with a Mini Protank 2. They didn't have 3 back then, or I'm sure I'd have been using that instead. If you aren't ready to...

    Inexpensive but dependable box mod?

MVP 2 is the best bang for your buck in the box mod category I think. Nice, smooth, vape, with variable volt, variable watt, ohm checking and the ability to charge other devices for you.

My first RBA: Yaaayyy! -(I think)

There should be an airflow adjustment screw on the bottom if it's a Kayfun Lite Plus version. Either on the bottom or side. Remove it, and that may help. If you only see the fill screw, then you didn't get a plus version. Those are definitely known to have a pretty tight draw.

    Nemesis shocking button.

Did your friend sell you an ohm meter and a volt meter? Also, the battery goes in positive end first. Positive towards your 510 connection and negative towards your button.

    Nemesis shocking button.

I don't know. Heating shrink wrap around a battery doesn't seem all that safe for the average person to do. I'd rather leave that to the factories who do it. Heat + batteries doesn't seem all that safe to me. Maybe someone around here has done it before? Also, if you have the money and...

    Nemesis shocking button.

It would take just as long to find a brick and mortar, or even a Home Depot/hardware store to get a new battery, then it would to reinsulate an unknown battery. Safer too. Any place that sells higher end flashlights should have suitable high drain, IMR batteries I think. Look for Sony VTC5's...

Need assistance with purchasing Dripper and/or Kayfun

A Provari is one of the safest, regulated devices out there. It will not fire anything that is too low. All you would need to remember is that you are aiming for a resistance over 1.3 ohms for use on a Provari. If you get an ohms meter, that'll be easy. Just wrap your coil, test it, and if...

    Man killed as e-cigarette 'explodes'

This could happen to anyone, charging anything. I'm sure it can and has happened with cell phones. I'm sure it's still a lot safer to charge a battery then it is to smoke a cigarette while on oxygen treatment.

Why I'm fed up with the vape community (mostly)

Woah. I'm a business woman who is frequently dressed in business suits, but I have sub ohm builds in three of my toppers and just paid for my second, genuine, high end mod. Well, fifth if you count the three Provarii in the house (to be fair, I'm buying for myself AND hubby). I've got two...
