Recommendations for ecig similar to itaste

You may be looking at the VTR. It's larger then the MVP, and heavier. Also, the MVP delivers a smoother power current, which is easier on atty's. Some people can taste the difference, and others say human beings can't. I personally preferred the MVP and Provari over other, 33 hz variable...

Fully charged itaste vv discharges when connected to atomiser

What's the resistance of the coil in the tank? It could be a combination of a dying battery, plus the fact that the VVv3 is a variable wattage device. It'll boost the power from the battery to fire the coil depending on the resistance of the coil. It could be putting out too much power when...

Is my MVP 2.0 Ohm reader reading wrong??

Stock coils tend to only be around what they state they are, rather then be spot on. I wouldn't worry about it. The MVP has always given me pretty accurate readings for ohms. More accurate then my current ohm reader actually. My current reader is jumping around on it's reading lately. I...

Need a new setup, $50 or less

Go for the Mini Nautilus. I haven't used it, but it resembles a cartotank, and I HAVE used those. Cartotanks are the best for taste aside from rebuilding in my opinion, and the Mini Nautilus appears to combine the better performance of a cartotank with the ease of use of a clearomizer.

    Help with the basics, please!

1 ohm used to be the lowest, safest setting. Newer batteries have higher amperage rates these days though, so you can go lower then 1 ohm. The lower you go, the more important airflow is however, so you'll do best with a dripper with adjustable air flow if you intend to go lower then 1 ohm...

What type of battery are you using? There are some where the battery pin can get pushed down too far to make a connection to the atomizer. You can use a toothpick to nudge it up a teeny bit higher. If you don't want to mess with the battery pin, you can try and pull the part of the atomizer...

    Vapor pens Vs. Mechanical

I think part of the problem is that a lot of the more advanced vapers all hang out in other sections of the forum, and are surrounded by like minded individuals. It's easy to loose sight of the fact that most people never get that far in vaping. Ego and cigalike users make up most of the...

Newbie vaper with a couple of questions.

Congrats OP! Great choice on the MVP 2. It's great for newbies and more advanced vapers alike. If I had to do it all over again, I'd have started with one myself.

    Best coffee/java flavor?

Hubby prefers a really strong coffee flavor, so this may not be for everyone. He likes Free State Vapor's Co-Kona Nut. I haven't found a coffee flavor I particularly like though. That one is too strong of a coffee flavor for me. May be good mixed with some caramel though... Hmmm...

    I need INFOOOO plez

The chart is more helpful for stock coils in clearos while using a regulated device in my opinion. Using a mech mod with an RDA, you should be able to go lower in resistance. Use an online ohm calculator, enter the resistance and the voltage of your battery, and make sure that the amperage...

What voltage/wattage range should I stay within?

As other before me stated, start low, and work your way up. If you feel you're too low before you get a burnt taste (like you need a stronger hit, but it tastes burnt at the next setting up) increase the airflow via the ring if you don't already have it set at the for the highest.

    Best kayfun clone?

I prefer the Ehpro Kayfun Lite V2 for myself and hubby, although the Hcigar Kayfun 3.1 seems to have better airflow. I don't generally sub ohm with my Kayfuns though, so I don't mind the airflow of the Lite versions. Some of course, prefer an airier draw regardless, and in that case I'd...

    Vapor pens Vs. Mechanical

Whatever works to keep you from cigarettes is the right set up! I started with a 650 mAh, blister pack, ego myself, and it got me off cigarettes. I still recommend a version of the kit I got to those on the fence regarding vaping. It's $14.95, and with packs costing $14 here in NYC, it...

    Aspire Nautilus Mini airflow

Same here. I love the idea of it. It's like a carto tank with the convenience of a clearo. Just waiting for the price of the coils to come down a bit.

Queston about batteries and chargers..New to vaping

How large are the 2 to 3 tanks? When I started vaping, my iTaste VVv3 would last me for my workday, and it was 800 mAh. I didn't vape through an entire tank though, so I have a feeling I was vaping far less then you. Also, the type of coils in your tanks can affect battery life too. Dual...

    Looking to drip

As long as you keep the resistance of the coil at 1.3 ohms or higher, you'll do fine with a dripper. I recommend one meant for a single coil, rather then a dual coil though. A dual coil dripper may have a bit too much air flow for a standard resistance, single coil. An Igo L, or a Progen...

    I need INFOOOO plez

There are a lot of factors that could go into creating a burnt taste. First, different juices can handle different temps. Some tend to burn at the higher temps produced with sub-ohming. Next, there could be a hot spot on your coil. An area that is heating up faster then the rest of the coil...

    Fixing an X6

Perhaps someone more knowledgeable then myself can help on this, but I wonder if the battery pin was actually spun around? Don't knock all internet vendors just yet. There are definitely some better deals to be found online, and when paired with online reviews of vendors, it's easy to select...

Ready to make a vape purchase

Are you going for clones then? A Provari is actually mid priced in the realm of authentic gear. Nothing wrong with clones in my opinion. One of my favorite set ups is a GP Paps clone paired with a Heron clone as a hybrid. It's a great vape, by the way, with a great switch, and it's compact...

    Time to replace Battery?

Most batteries are good for around 300 cycles, depending on brand and the charger. So, if you're charging once a day, they should be good for a little less then a year.
