    Is all Japanese cotton equal?

I've been using Muji cotton pads, and they've been great! http://www.muji.us/store/health-and-beauty/skin-care/cut-cotton-ecru.html Seems the smaller bag is out of stock, but they have a bigger one still in stock.

Include me as well. I'm running out of places to hide my new purchases from my husband.

    Best low-cost clearomizer

I've heard good things about both the Aerotank and the Nautilus. I moved on from clearos before those came out though, so I have no personal experience with them. For a VV battery, around 2 ohms should be good. It'll give you more freedom in selecting power ranges the coils can handle. Too...

First coil and build Kayfun Lite v2

Congrats OP! Tip for next time that I picked up elsewhere on this forum. Try mounting the coil so that it's perpendicular to the post screws. Then, cut the wick so that it resembles an upside down U with the ends just brushing the tops of the juice channels.

    Ebay

There are plenty of reputable eBay dealers. Just be sure to read the comments before you buy. Those with the highest ratings may charge a dollar or two more, but so far I have yet to have a negative experience by paying that extra dollar or two.

    Sorry... I'm lost

There are several brands that use 808 D1 type batteries if that's the form factor you want to stick with. You can try Halo, which has some great menthol flavors. For longer battery life, and easier refilling, you may want to look into a set up that is around the size of a cigar like an ego...

    Choices: Mech Mod ($60 Budget)

The Stingray X will give you more options, with the traditional top cap, as well as the hybrid adaptor. Depending on the type of threading used, you may even be able to use that adapter on other mods. I'm not sure on that one though.

    Choices: Mech Mod ($60 Budget)

I've been thinking about getting some colored tubes from elsewhere, and just using the top cap and switch from the mod I have. The mod itself I got on sale for all of $12

    Choices: Mech Mod ($60 Budget)

I have the Hcigar SS Nemesis and it's the best clone mod I have so far. Hubby has taken it over however. Not sure on the voltage drop, but we don't sub-ohm at very low levels, so it doesn't matter much. The lowest I go when I build coils is around .6 ohms. I also have a no name black Nemesis...

    PV vs Throat Hit

Nope. I agree, but they depend on the build and how far the coil is from the airflow. I love rebuildables for the ability to customize your vape, but just in case the OP isn't up for rebuilding there are non rebuilding options better then a Protank 2. OP - Try a dual coil tank, like the...

Why are Fasttech's prices so very unimpressive lately? If USA sellers on EBay have the same prices, then what's the point?

Fasttech is better for some things, and eBay is better for others. Those $5 plastic tanks for Kayfuns that you can find in eBay are a $1 something on Fasttech. I found a Heron clone on Fasttech, but not on eBay. For the actual Kayfun clones though, I prefer eBay, even if it's more. I like the...

Seeking enablers - $400 to spend on a new device.

The point to the battery holders, at least for me, is the hobby aspect of it. Keeps my mind off the cigarettes by making vaping more then another way to get nicotine.

Seeking enablers - $400 to spend on a new device.

How do you have the time to build all those coils? Woah. And here I am whining when all three of my husbands tanks need to be cleaned and/or recoiled at once. I don't know if you've got it in your collection yet, but why not the Lernaia Hydra with Zorbas attachment? The Zorbas allows you to...

    30 gauge kanthal

I have the Provari. I prefer my Kayfuns at around 1.3 to 1.5 ohms for them. I like 28 gauge for the added surface area. More suface to the kanthal equals more vapor to me. May not heat up as fast, but when it gets there I like the flavor. It's a matter of personal preference. Also, the...

Bought a Ticket for the Kayfun Train!

I typically top fill the 3.1 and use the bottom fill port on the Kayfun Lite versions. I prefer the Lite because I can get more liquid into them ultimately. Also, there are less pieces to take apart to clean when its time to change the wicking.
