Guess which tank emptied in the case laying flat on my desk?

I've only had one of the three in question, so I guess I'll have to go with the one I have. The Ehpro Kayfun. When an o-ring goes in the bottom, top, or tank, they do leak. Next guess would be the Aerotank. Kanger coils have always leaked for me, although I honestly only have experience with...

    The Erlkönigin : PICTORIAL

Yippie! My IBTanked glass for the erl just shipped. Got a black swirl on it in remembrance of the black swirl cartotank I got from them when I first started my cartotank craze. I've since PIFed it away. It'll be nice to get all the funky colors back. I'm gonna need a few more Erls though...

    New aqua tank build suggestions

I'm going to have to give my Aqua another try with lower ohms. It kept leaking and gurgling for me at 1.2 ohms. I usually build my RTA's for use on both my mechs and my regulated devices. Perhaps I should designate the Aqua as a mech only topper like my drippers. It leaked during travel for...

Your equipment progression. What did you start vaping on? What do you vape on now?

Started with a ego blister pack kit from ivape.net. It was an ivape branded, 650 mAh, variable volt (5 clicks to get to the next voltage setting), passthrough battery that came with a generic, bottom coil clearo that took the old Evod coils with the smaller chimney. Unfortunately, those coils...

DIY DNA box mod using 2 x parallel 18350 or 16340s

Couldn't you get something similar with a single 18650 mod? It's generally safer to use only one battery in a mod, rather then 2. So, if you can achieve something similar with a single battery rather then with 2 batteries, that could explain why there aren't any 18350 box mods.

New Member / Not a New Vape User

The Kayfun Lite and the Russian 91% are basically the same thing. A bottom coil, rebuildable, tank style topper. They are way more consistent then clearomizers (tank style cartomizers) in my experience, especially with thicker e-liquids like you're using. However, there is a greater learning...

    Hi from Holland

Welcome to ECF and congrats on quitting smoking! I've heard some good things about the Vamo. Make sure that the version you get is the stainless steel version, as the others have had issues I believe due to the softer metal. I haven't used the Aerotank, as I moved on to cartotanks before they...

Noob Questions - Steeping - Clearomizers

Welcome to ECF OP! The CE5 is disposable, but you can reuse it with some cleaning. Many people soak them in alcohol (everclear, 99% isopropyl rubbing alcohol, etc) and that helps to remove some of the gunk left over from vaporizing the liquids. I liked to dry burn my coils when I was using...

Had to perform emergency surgery just now

I got a hanging, toiletry travel bag for my gear when out and about. I cut off the part that I could use as a hanger though, as it took up too much space when I zipped the bag up. I have a spool of kanthal zipped into the mesh on the top section of the bag, and the end piece of kanthal pushed...

birthday ideas :) lets pull out the stops!!

Yes to all of that. If you plan on dripping on the go, then a Reo would suit you best. E-liquid is kept in the box mod itself, in a plastic juice bottle. "Squonking" refers to squeezing the juice bottle inside the mod, so that the liquid travels up a little tube, up into the dripping atty...

    Looking for suggestions.

The right mod depends on what your main goal is. If it's to cloud chase, you'll want something with the least voltage drop. In that case, you should check out the Stingray, or perhaps a copper mod of some sort. If you want to be able to place the mod on a table without needing to lock it...

    Mech Mod, the safe OHM...

Make sure you have the proper equipment to stay safe. Either a multimeter, or a volt and ohm meter. Always test the resistance of your coils before firing them on a mech mod. Next, don't skimp on cheap batteries. You want high drain batteries with a reputation on being safe. The green Sony VTC...

Best tank for vaping in hot weather?

Try storing your bottom coils upside down when going from air conditioning to outdoors. The temperature change from cold to hot expands things, and that can be causing some flooding. When you do go to vape outdoors, at least you'll be starting out without the flooding. May get more satisfying...

    Ok,Ok, laugh it up

When I moved on from ego's, I went with the Innokin iTaste VVv3. It's around the same size as your ego, but will allow you to adjust the voltage, or the wattage, check your atomizer's resistance (ohms) and acts as a passthrough (vape while it's charging) You can find one for around $25 at...

The same adapter should work for the iClear 30 I think.

Yeah, I bring my mods when out. I have 12 hour work days, and a disposable just wouldn't do for so long.
