    -High-End Mechanicals and Atomizers-Pictures & Discussion Round 2-

This thread has me itching to open my wallet again... I've got stuff coming in the mail though, so hopefully I can hold off for a bit! My first, genuine, high end, mech mod should be arriving in another day, and hopefully I can add a pic of my own soon.

Think I found the right vape...thought?

By hookah style, do you mean the maker sized battery with a button you press to fire it and a tank on top? If so, we call them ego batteries, and yes, they generally perform better then the cigarette sized kits.

Think I found the right vape...thought?

That vendor is a reputable vendor from what I've seen here. I think you can do better then that price with some looking around though. Try this place for something similar. It'll let you customize everything: Battery, Tank and Charger Custom Starter Kit! | Origin Vape Here's a good site...

    I've tried everything.....?

No, they can't. But they do last longer and are cheaper then many of the dual coil heads you find these days. If you get them from IBTanked, I'd go for the Smok cartos. They last longer then Boge in my experience. The filler is also less dense, which makes priming them go faster. Go to the...

New to the site, new to vapping. couple questions

I would go for a glass version. Plastic reacts with some liquids and can crack or effect the flavor. Here are some suggestions: Mini Protank 2 - uses a single, bottom coil. Easy to maintain and clean the coils Mini Protank 3 - uses dual coils. Can provide more flavor and vapor, but goes...

    I've tried everything.....?

Hmm... Do you spend a lot of time outdoors OP? What's the temperature like by you? Could be that the coils are heating up faster and staying warm longer with summer here now. With all the changes in equipment you've tried, I'm thinking there must be some change to the environment causing the...

hey guys new member with newbie questions

The MVP 2 is the best bang for your buck out there I think. It has pretty much every function you could think of save for vaping at the really high wattages needed for cloud chasing. For your normal, everyday, vaping needs though, the MVP delivers a great, quality, vape for a fabulous price...

    New here, first post!

Oh, and the MVP will come with a tank or "clearomizer". The kit at 101vape.com comes with the iClear 30 I think. It's a top coil tank, with long wicks that bring the juice up to the heating coil. It's also a dual coil, which means that there are two coils that heat the juice, rather then one...

    New here, first post!

To play around with advanced settings and learn a bit, I recommend either the MVP 2 or the iTaste VVv3. The MVP will run around $40 and the VVv3 will be about $25. Both will allow you to change the voltage or the wattage, check the ohms (resistance) of your coil, check the battery power level...

Hello from DC, new to ecf

Welcome to ECF, and congrats on quitting the stinkies! I always wind up with a ton of wicking too. Each time I buy a new atty, more silicone comes with it. I've been using cotton on all my builds. I like the Japanese organic cotton pads the best, because it's easier to get the right amount...

    I've tried everything.....?

Juice can affect how long a coil lasts. Thicker, sweeter and darker juices will kill a coil faster then a lighter colored, thinner juice would. What juice are you putting in it. Also, have you tried soaking coils with everclear or something similar to make them last longer? You can also try...

    Anyone from DELCO PA?

Vapedojo's website is great on pricing. If you're near enough to drive there OP, I second that recommendation. I'm in NYC, so I haven't been there myself, but I've ordered from them and I haven't been disappointed. You'll likely get anything they ship pretty quickly too, if you order from the...

    Noob voltage question

Gurgling could mean that too much juice is in your coil. I haven't used the Nautilus, as I moved on from clearos before it was released for sale, but I know with most bottom coil tanks you can blow through the bottom to blow excess juice out through the drip tip. Also, adjusting the airflow...

    new guy here

Welcome to ECF! You'll find a ton of information here. When I first found this forum, it was almost too much! You'll get the hang of it though. May I ask what kind of equipment you are using? We can start with explaining what you've got in your hand, and this way it helps to understand what...

i have no idea what i'm doing

Welcome to ECF! In order to help you, we'll need some more information on where you're at. Have you already purchased some equipment and you're looking for info on how to use and maintain it? Are you looking to buy some for the first time, and wish to know what to buy? Also, we'll need to...

    Throat Hit

The nicotine is what creates the throat hit unfortunately, so you'll need to increase it to get it. Also, more PG and less VG seems to let the nicotine come through more. VG kind of softens it. Don't toss the 6mg bottles you bought. You can either use it to try and step down again later, or...

    Anyone have this issue....

This too. Less is more when working with a Kayfun. Good rule of thumb to follow is to use enough cotton to feel some resistance when sliding it through the coil, but not so much that your mod would tip over if you weren't holding it as you pulled the cotton through.

    Anyone have this issue....

How much are you filling it? It can't be filled all the way, or it prevents proper wicking. Only fill it up to about 80% full.

Day 28 and a Nautalus update

Sorry to hear that the Nautilus isn't working for you. I've had the best luck with smaller bottom coil clearos like the Mini Protanks or the Aspire ET-S. Even the iClear 16b. I think the smaller the clearo is, the less gurgling for some reason. I didn't stick with clearos for long though...

    Lernia Hydra

Yay! I really hope so. I love the look of mechs, but I use my Provari's more. If the Zorba can somewhat perform like my Provari, I'd be a very happy girl. Without it, I'll still be happy to replace my Stingray clone with a genuine mech.
