    Apple Tobacco

I've been trying to clone a vendor's Applewood flavour since the recipe was changed, and while I haven't managed it, I've come up with something I like and can live with. I vape this daily now. This makes a 10ml batch at 26mg strength. 7.25ml 35mg VG base 14 drops FlavourArt Royal tobacco 39...

    G4 Clear Cartomizer Tip

What resistance is the cartomizer? I saw 2.5 ohm somewhere.. the one I'm using tested out at 4 ohms, can't get any taste out of it at 3.7v. At 6v I can taste about half the flavour that I get from a Boge filler carto.. not terribly impressed, it's like the eGo-T all over again..

Hate to admit it, but I miss Canada Post

How is this costing you anything other than frustration? Taxpayers don't subsidize Canada Post's operating costs and wages, do they? Last I heard it was running in the black. The mild annoyance of not receiving mail and packages as cheaply as you used to is not IMO worth comparing to .......

Hate to admit it, but I miss Canada Post

I agree, if there's surplus revenue and management isn't applying it to the Corporation's contractual obligations, where's it going? I don't have a pension, but I have the choice to work for any employer that does, so whose fault is it that I have no pension? Mine. If I wanted one that...

Hate to admit it, but I miss Canada Post

What's with everybody pointing at other people's jobs and exclaiming they make too much money for what they do? "Those people making great wages and having awesome benefits are totally costing me money, I could send a package for $10 instead of $13 like it is now, darn those greedy whiners"...

Hate to admit it, but I miss Canada Post

Whereabouts in Canada are you? If anyone's local to you I'm sure they'd be up for helping you out with juice. Lots of pay-it-forward type stuff goes on behind the scenes. I remember how angry I was when my PV ran out of batteries and I bought cigarettes instead, and so do others here I bet...

    Vendors offering alternate shipping options

Heck yes to Happy Vaper's UPS shipping. Order was processed yesterday at 11am - the package arrived at my house this morning while I was at work. 24 hours Toronto to Vancouver is _crazy_ fast, for approx. $7 more than CP shipping.

    ePuff.ca Down For Maintenance..

You _could_ just pay the courier charge from a vendor that has courier shipping. Probably be cheaper than driving even!

    Canada Post

Happy Vaper and Maple Leaf Vapes come to mind. I'm sure other companies would throw a package on the Greyhound bus for you if you asked them nicely; they can send it without paying fees up front; you pay shipping fees when you pick up your package. Cost me about $20 to send a package the size...

    Safe disposal of 100mg nic

I have 120ml of 100mg nic that has been spoiled somehow, it's an orange colour and smells terrible. I'd like to get rid of it and am wondering what would be the 'safest' way all around to do so - should I just chuck it in the trash, should it be poured down the sink, etc?

    yellow nic

How yellow is the yellow that you guys are talking about? I got some 100mg VG base from China and it's this colour, and smells pretty strongly. Previous juices haven't had much of a smell and have been clear for the most part. Is this acceptable - would I be in the wrong for wanting a refund?

    Canadian Suppliers?

Happy Vaper in Ontario and electrovapors.com in Alberta are both really good vendors, nice to deal with. No complaints here.

    New Vapers, check your cartomizers.

Chuck it in a power drill like you would a drill bit. Pull the trigger a few times (maybe hold it in a paint can or plastic container or something to be safe from splatter). Would save you possibly ruining the central coil.

DIY mixing - using 36mg/ml base to make 24mg/ml juice

    You're right about the calculations - I do them as ratios and then cross-multiply. Here's a sample one for anyone that's interested: 36mg strength : 30ml total batch wanted 24mg strength : ?? ml nic base needed 24*30 / 36 = ?? (20ml) - 20ml being the amount of nic base to use. 30-20 =...

DIY mixing - using 36mg/ml base to make 24mg/ml juice

I've had a few people ask me about mixing; thought I'd post what I sent them just in case it's of interest. I'd love to see how other people go about doing their mixing. This is an edited PM I sent: Here's what I do when I make the juice I like to use - this is so you can modify what I do...
