    Well, the larger batteries are usually able to support a higher constant output than the smaller batteries. That's probably the difference you're noticing. We demand more from our batteries than they are designed to handle, and the bigger ones are generally better able to keep up.

    Got my replacement v3, and I'm liking it just as much as the original. After seeing it in real life, though, I'm regretting taking silver instead of white, which must look awesome. I just might have to pick up a second unit.

    I'm talking about the minimum input, not the max output. The spec sheet indicates a dropout voltage of 3.0v. I'm taking that to mean that anything over 5.5v gets regulated down to 5.5v, but anything from 3.0v to 5.5v goes through as is. Am I reading that wrong?

    With a dropout voltage of 3.0v, can these be used with a single battery? Essentially, it'd be functioning as a mosfet for the switch. Just curious, as I'm not a huge fan of high voltage.

    Not sure I'll ever use it since I haven't gotten into making my own juices (yet), but I bought it just to support the idea of iPhone apps focused on vaporizing. Just FYI, if you make any sort of e-smoking app, I'll buy it, so developers...get developing. LOL.

    We got an extra $500 bonus at work this year, on top of our existing bonus, so I'll probably drop it on an iPad. Or maybe a couple of high-end mods. Who knows? I'll figure that out when the bonuses show up in my bank account.

    I picked up the Dulce De Leche and Caramel Apple after listening to Vaporcast's review of TV liquids. They are both great, and the price point is excellent. I believe I'll be getting all of my juices from TV and one other domestic vendor...no more mass-produced juice for me!

    Glad to hear it's not a common problem. I pulled the trigger and ordered a Janty Stick v3 to replace my head v2. I hope I like the new one as much as I liked the old one before it burned out. Any idea how it managed to drain the battery down past the minimum safe charge?
