    The 510 is a nice little starter kit for her. If she only smokes a couple packs a week, It should suit her fine. Vapor production should be the same as your ego.The battery life is not that great but with her being a light smoker it should be fine.

    You can use it without the cartridge. Just put a couple drops in your atomizer and hit it. I think they call it tailpiping or something like that.

    510 battery has lasted only about 15 min. Is this normal?

    The 510 battery should last a little longer than 15 minutes.Even being 180 mah, Mine last alot longer then 15 minutes and they are a least 6 months old.
