Refinishing
I use a drill and sandpaper to get an even brushing. Spin the drill and just place the sandpaper lightly without excessive force, moving up and down. Stopping every now and then to check the finish. It's simpler for me. You can always give scotch bright a go. -

Try 0.8 ~ 1.0 ohms at 4v ( though i have no clue how evic works) A mech mod always does it better. That'll hit better. Technically, the bigger the air hole, the better the vapor production is. And since you're on VG, the vapor should be massive. If it still isn't, then it's all on the wick. Too... -

Most metal workshops would be able to do it. If you want it brushed, it's pretty simple and a 5min job. All you need is a drill and fine sandpaper. Here's a self brushed Gus tele. -

True. But it's no advise, just stating my own thoughts. It's always the case, where after I owned and used a few GGs, that I find it inferior to so many other items available in the market. Some people still swear by it while I just think its not worth the effort and money to even get it... -

Some have tried. They say, as long as you keep it wet, it'll still function. I prefer to spend a little money and get silica. It doesn't cost that much and u have a peace of mind when using stuffs that you need to inhale into your lungs. -
