Thinning a VG recipe
I make mine at 5% flavor, 17% water. this can vary but I like my combined % at 22%. examples 6% flavor + 16% water = 22%- sachavaca

Petar K Method with a hybrid Wick
3/4 or 4/5 coil with 30 ga is all I use, If I was new I would check coils but I can tell by taste and vapor production if I have a problem. I just do what I can to keep it very simple and maintain a stable wick. It works for me but it is not the only way for certain.- sachavaca

I have to agree, but it comes in several colors if you think that is a plus (sheez). My mini makes a great paperweight, If you vape in a perfect world it could work for you maybe. I have been very happy with my sdog (silver dog), truly pocket freindly. tank is ss, stands upright, no leaking in... -

I am not certain why the coils need adjusting, If wraped around a drill bit it should be as good as it gets. I find the imperfection is the wick and that is what I adjust. S-Dog - 1.6 Ohm - 0.20 Kanthal , #325 mesh - YouTube they have a few videos about sdog I just wash the mesh, then boil, roll it up with visable mesh grain verticle. I slide wick in coil then add juice and pulse fire. keep it wet and few pulses its ready, vape away- sachavaca

VG thinning %
my combined % of water and % of flavoring is 22%, I do it like that because both these will thin juice. so in my case it is 17% water and 5% flavor. works great in my sdog genesis with 400 or 500 mesh- sachavaca

loved my line with side fill hole. it never leaked even when left on its side all night. I prefer center wick( no need to see what position its in. The connector was its weak spot, drop it and bam its over. yes a solid wick would cause problems but no worries standard wick works great -

Very thick VG and SS Mesh
I mix my vg liquid so the water and flavoring = 22 percent and no problems wicking with 400 or 500 in my silver dog genesis. If you make wick solid it will not wick very well and disapates heat too fast. I agree about the insulator. In the end I stopped using my zenesis (bad design IMOP). maybe...- sachavaca

Hope it helps ethic, my batteries all ended up with huge dent in the bottom from that same problem. Mike(manufacturer) said you must be doing something wrong blah blah blah. Finally after hours of fiddling and trying to communicate with him (never could) I changed the screw and fixed that part... -

that is not a great idea. If it slides sideways could ground to the tube causing battery runaway, look for a better long term fix -
