If it does not wick fast enough you will overheat teflon wick insulator and that does not taste good and is not good for you. just my 2 cents but why make a pv from high grade ss and than put teflon in it?.

I have a febuary switch (short throw) so It is much touchier. I think what happened with yours is the screw loosened up causing it to short out when setting it down on button. you need to make sure screw does not loosen or it will happen again.

About once a month I pull my mini out and try to make it work again, ordered new tank and this time remove magnets and add spring. Hoping that will get it firing better until I get new switch and can use as backup at least.
yah thats always possible, where I live oil filters are self serve so wrong part # points to one person. haha, Most cases it's a rolled oring, in any event easy fix long as you noticed it before freeway driving.
