Which one is better?
There are no "genuine" AWTs. They're all rewraps with exaggerated specifications. You can get actual reliable information on them if Mooch has tested them, but the problem is that the battery under the wrapper could be changed at any time and thus you can never be 100% sure what you're getting...- KenD

At 200℃ the coil won't glow so you won't catch any hot spots. I know that some set up a special tcr that lets the coil get hot enough to mildly glow but but not hot enough for the coil to produce anything dangerous. Unfortunately I don't have any detailed information to provide. Sent from my... -

Wire suggestion for my tanks
I'd suggest starting with simple single-wire ss316 coils, 26 or 28ga. Complex wires sometimes introduce problems with tc, and they don't perform that much better than simple coils anyway. Sent from my M7_PLUS using Tapatalk- KenD

Do I have to use escribe for dna chips?
It's 6.2v on the DNA 250 in two battery mode (don't remember if the DNA200 is 6 or 6.2v). The DNA 200 and 250 don't have voltage boosting so they can't provide more than the current battery voltage (including voltage sag). Sent from my M7_PLUS using Tapatalk -

I understand. Ss316 has about half the resistance of kanthal so you could build a 2 ohm coil but would need thinner/more wire than you're used to. Check steam-engine to build something with a heat flux that will suit you. Sent from my M7_PLUS using Tapatalk- KenD

I don't have a Hohmtech device so can't say personally, but plenty of people who have them swear by them. I don't think they do kanthal tc through tcr but they sure seem to do some kind of tc with kanthal. The company publishes complicated nonsense jargon to explain how their devices work so...- KenD

The firmwares are different. The update program that Wismec, Eleaf, and Joyetech uses to this day may or may not be the same, with the exception of cosmetic changes. It's doubtful that the chups were ever exactly the same. Sent from my M7_PLUS using Tapatalk
