No mod that I know of shows the battery amp draw. The ones with an amp display, like the Alien, show the amps at the atomizer. Pretty much useless information.
EDIT: saw that Anthony gave the same information just before me :-)

The Alien has a low cutoff voltage so with the LG hg2s, or Sony vtc5s, you'll exceed the cdr at around 105w. However, if you remove the batteries at 3.5v you're good up to about 125w. With the Sony vtc5a (not vtc5) you'd be good up to about 130w (160w if recharging at 3.5v), and with the LG...
You're ridiculously misrepresenting the discussion that's going on in that thread. No one's making the claims you're ascribing to them. And it's all made more ridiculous when you simultaneously warn about flavourings, without providing any proof at all.

The op stated that he wants good tc so a mech won't do. There seems to be some complaints about these Vgod mods and tc, though I have no personal experience of them.

Dangerous on a regulated mod as well. It's always bad to exceed the capabilities of a battery, and that can be done on a regulated mod as well.

I love the size of it, and do enjoy the fire bar, but it's not a very good mod. The tc is seriously flawed. The battery life is great though, and the mod is very comfortable.

The 25r is a good battery, safe up to about 65w on the Al85. As long as your battery is authentic your problems shouldn't be due to it.

There's simply no way your meter is that accurate. You're making an error in thinking that the difference in the reading between the mods is what matters. Either of the readings could easily be off by .01Ω or more.

Doesn't mean that it's accurate. Highly doubful, in fact. Any small interference will have a huge impact at very low resistances.

Samsung 18650 3.7v says very little by itself. What model is the battery, are there any other markings to identify it?

It may say that to people who don't actually read the thread and the information provided in the thread. That is not the fault of the person doing the testing and reporting the results.
