you will NEED an ohm reader or DVOM to check the resistance or "ohms" of your builds. without one you are running the risk of potentially "venting" (exploding) the battery.
this one is pretty good. The Omnitester
this one has a lot more features, but is a bit trickery to use.

(IMO) as the general understanding of vaping related technology has evolved, more and more people are exploring the ragged edge between safe and potentially dangerous. regardless of them knowing it or not.
i use a mechanical mod with duel coil setup, around .3 or .5 ohms for a lot of my vaping...
well the "filler" / wick materal used in the mini nautilus BVC coils is very different than anything we have ever seen before. Aspire is calling it Ceramic or Fiberglass paper.
some times they call it ceramic paper other times they call it fiberglass paper. i think something is getting lost in...
try restricting the airflow, this will help pull more e-liquid into the wick and coil. you MAY also need to turn the power down when you restrict the airflow.
all of the 5 flavors from MBV i have tried had a quite a bit of Pure Grain Alcohol in them, this could also be the problem.
3 days on a coil head is not unheard of. what brand and flavor are you vaping?
dry burning 4 or 5 times a day seems pretty excessive.
what is the air flow on your nautilus set at?
could be a lot of reasons.
what is the device "e-cig" you are vaping?
nicotine is a bit harsh on you throat. what mg/mL are you vaping?
Pure Grain Alcohol is commonly used in various e-liquids. it can feel a bit harsh on your throat. what brand and flavor are you vaping?
PG or "Propylene...

i torch my silica with a small butane torch before i use it, this cleans off any random dust partials, skin oils, or anything that would come off the wick when your vaping it and produce a bad flavor.
some people cant vape e-liquids with high PG content.
PG or "propylene glycol" is used pretty much all e-liquids. it really helps bring out the flavor, but it does not produce a lot of visible vapor.
it tends to be a bit harsh on the throat, this really helps simulate the effect of smoking a...
i have always been skeptical about all of the cellulose fiber type wicks. it just seems like a poor choice when you have amorphous silica as an option.
silica wick will not burn or thermally degrade at all when used in an e-cigarette. the heating wire would melt apart before the silica got hot...
its possible that your over heating the flavor. i find i get the best flavor right around .8 ohms per coil.
3/4 wrap of 30 gauge kanthal A1 around 2 strands of 2MM silica wick. make sure you torch (butane torch lighter) the silica before wrapping your coil.
lots of people complain about the...
looks like they carry Dekang e-liquid, one of the oldest e-liquid manufacturers on the planet.
i have tried some Dekang e-liquids and they are not the worst thing i have ever vaped, but i wouldn't ever spend my money on Dekang e-liquid.
if it really is authentic Dekang e-liquid then it fine to...
glass is the preferred container for storage, but its not as convenient as plastic. so i buy and store top shelf e-liquids in glass bottles, then when im ready to use it transfer it from glass to 10mL LDPE bottles. you can find 10mL LDPE with dropper tip child resistance cap for about 50 cents...
i use the same wick and coil for both the max VG and the 50/50
and the 50/50 does not have as much flavor even when using the same percentage of flavoring. sure the throat hit is a bit more noticeable with the 50/50 but its a 1.8 coil.
this whole thing has me puzzled. my friend who has vaped...
say i make a 10 ml bottle, i use 5 ml of PG including the PG based flavoring. then add my nicotine that is in a VG base and add the remainder of VG to give me a 50/50 PG VG mix. so no?
if i increase the amount of PG in my e-liquid, should i also increase the amount of flavor.
for example if i make e-liquid for my dripper i use about 10%-15% flavoring and no extra pg
but when i make e-liquid for my kayfun i use the same amount of flavoring (10%-15%) then turn it into 50/50...
that is good advice, but for some reason that conclusion just didn't seem logical at the time.
some part of me was saying, "there must be some industry wide expectation of what organic flavoring means". i guess not.
Ph.D. Kurt Kistler, a Chemistry Consultant for the American E-liquid Manufacturing Standards Association or AEMSA
had this to say on the subject of flavorings and even on the "trickery" involved in the labeling.

its good enough for me, i am glad i found...
