    Anyone ask Chinese manufacturers

So true! The spin off from Altria was done not only to protect it from litigation and regulation in the U.S., but to allow PM International to aggressively pursue growth in emerging markets worldwide with less constraints.

    Anyone ask Chinese manufacturers

Why should it fall into Class III? It's not a life sustaining device. Nor does it pose "potentially unreasonable risk of illness or injury". I would think that any submission to the FDA would separate the drug from the device, or limit the strength of nicotine provided to a safe enough level...

    Quitting ecigs aswell!!

I do relatively low nic, but can't see me quitting vaping. The ritual of smoking is my downfall, so while I sometimes go 0 nic in my e-cig, if I didn't have it I'm sure I'd pick up an analog.

Be Aware of How Much you Vape!

I'd be very surprised if it was nicotine poisoning. Nicotine kills quickly. With severe symptoms of nicotine poisoning like you describe, I would have expect you to say they tested your cotinine level, and maybe even that they administered activated charcoal. MLD for nicotine in an adult is...

    A Pharmacists Point of View

Given a choice of a ban, suspension of sales during investigation, or taxes, I would part with my yankee dollars for the tax till. As of now the FDA is calling them a drug delivery device that requires approval, so what happens in the end remains to be seen.

NCi ECIG Clinical Trials looking for particapants

For what its worth (probably not much as it related to e-cigs), I've been published in the National Library of Medicine/MedlinePlus under their auspices of the NIH, and have been involved in the analysis of data pooled from studies for several years. My first reaction is that this could be a...

    A Pharmacists Point of View

I don't know every state's laws, but medical devices, pharmaceuticals and NRTs are typically tax exempt. So here's my DQOTD: If the PVs are drug delivery devices and eliquid is the drug, how can they be taxed if there is no tobacco?

    Thank You!

LOL, my crystal ball says you might end up like so many of us who just can't resist playing with their new toys and trying all the new ones! I don't like the penstyle - to me it's an awkward size, and silly looking - although I do like the 801 atty with a JantyStick. I still have the 901...

Why did you quit smoking and start vaping?

#1 I want to live for a long time. #2 I'm tired of wearing a sign that says "Sure, tax me some more - I'm thrilled to foot the bill for all your causes". #3 I want to live for a long time. #4 It smells. #5 I want to live for a long time.

    Thank You!

Welcome Susban! Deja vu - I started with a 901 from e-smokey treats, went down to around 5 a day and next kit was a 510. You're off to a good start... don't worry about the few analogs. A lot of us start off that way. When you're ready you may wake up one morning, take a drag on your...

    Empty cartridges??

You can use the empty cart if you drip, or fill it with poly and add eliquid. There are threads and videos that will give you tips on both.

My E-smoking allowed label feel free to use it

Oh yeah - there will NOT be a law that bans tobacco as long as there there is money to be made from it. But the notion of us all vamping in red silk does conjure up some interesting images...

    coming soon...

Butterscotch, and I had a chance to sample it (thank you Jaaxx!). I don't do detailed reviews, but here's what I think... It's typical of what I love about Juicy Liquid flavors - vapes beautifully, and has no artificial candy sweetness. For the butterscotch lovers who've been waiting for it...

    Travel and Vaping American Airlines

How much have you spent on ecigs?

My feelings, exactly! LOL, actually I do have an idea... and it's all the more reason I don't want to know for sure

My E-smoking allowed label feel free to use it

And some call it anything but either one. There was a thread a while ago with negative comments about the term vaping by quite a few members. Hold it against me if you like, but I never refer to it as vaping outside this forum. I use my inhaler in public.

The 510: USB passthrough worth buying?

Yep. Because of the downtime with extended use, I'm changing my opinion on it. When I'm at work my PV is my pacifier, and the battery in the PT isn't up to the heavy workout. If I have to keep spare batteries or a PCC ready for when the PT quits on me, there's no point to it. It shouldn't be...
