    I don't know what the best answer is. Anytime I've been asked about it I describe it as my inhaler or nicotine inhaler, and have never had anyone ask me to stop using it anywhere, so it works for me.

    I don't do tobacco flavors, but it wouldn't surprise me if they get more of a reaction than others. I find people do notice an odor, but so far (with non-tobacco flavors) when I've asked if its offensive the answer has been that it's either pleasant or nothing to think about.

    I was glad to have mine when I was out for a formal evening with no bag, jacket or pockets. It's also great around the yard. When I'm gardening its easy to lose my ecig even if I have pockets, so it's good for that, too. LOL, I manage to forget where I put it down even as I go from one room...
