I loved pipe tobacco, and there are sooo many flavors of pipe tobacco and most of them are bad lol. Before i stopped smoking I found a rich vanilla that I loved so now I need the honey tobacco flavor lol. Yeah I don't know if the honey concentrate needs to steep or what but it's floral. Kind of...
I always put at least 5% water in my mixes, taste really clean plus we have the best well water. I never tried vodka because well have you ever inhaled the fumes off a vodka bottle (gag) lol. Not knocking anyone who does use it or anything as I'm sure in dilution isn't bad, but I do notice the...
Does your honey tobacco flavor have a real floral note like flowers? I bought honey concentrate separate to mix with tobacco myself and it has a strong flower like taste.
I don't like to use too much ry4, you would think if something is tasty more would be tastier and that's not the case. I found out the hard way lol. At least with the double ry4, the bottle I have right now I mixed too strong and it has an unattractive musty taste behind it. Little goes a long...
I like that idea, would be best after I order some more flavors lol. Sounds like it would be fun though, and the winner gets a custom e-juice mad scientist avatar! lol
It's weird, my mystery juice isn't really sweet or anything. Just taste like a nice rich tobacco with a lot of body, even though the juice itself smells like a deliscious vanilla carmel tobacco. I'm thinking I may use it as base for one extra ingredient that doesn't need steeping. hmmmmmmm
Oh yeah how could I forget shaking. I shake it when I make it, I shake it before I fill it, and I wiggle and giggle it under the faucet.
Sounds like 50's song. lol
Don't worry so much about it, you can taste your recipe fresh to get a good idea of how it will be after steeping. If you're worried about making a bunch of bottles of a bad recipes, don't make large batches and make small one's 3/5/10ml. We will all make a bad recipe starting off, mine was...
The reason why leaving the fill skrew out working better. With the fill skrew in and a wick blocking the only other air inlet, juice wont flow up if air can't flow in easily. That's a large reason why I bored the fill skrew hole bigger when I converted mine for cotton. I even had a hard time...
Here is a pic of the air hole I drilled below the factory one. I just happened to have a drill bit that was almost the same size that came with my proxxon rotary tool.
I also took some red nail polish and marked a groove that lines up with the wick/coil. I think i will mark the ones on each...
I tried my mystery juice that has been steeping for close to a month. For anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about I will explain lol. When I first started taste testing new juices every time I would empty my mini novas to try another juice I would pour the juice into the "Mystery bottle"...
Brown sugar makes my tobacco's taste more realistic and gives a light sweet note that I crave with with a menthol mix. I don't mix a tobacco without it now actually.
The positive on mine is tight, I seen quite a few people saying they had to use dental floss, non conductive washers ect. but I don't know if they're making them better now because I know they have made changes with the plating. The only thing I thought about doing is replacing the silicone...
The general rule for taste testing new things is 5% or less. It lets you taste all the notes it has being more diluted. Of coarse some flavors are stronger than others and only need a few drops. I agree with levi on too much ry4 taste musty.
Everyone asking about percentages, just be light on...
I just drilled another hole vertical below the factory one, and you are right it's better to have more smaller holes rather than one big one. Creates a better vape with better air flow. It's different because it almost feels too airy but vapes big clouds of vapor. It's not like some systems that...
If your coil was 2.5 ohms then went to 1.6 that means it shorted out (electricity passing through wick most likely). Try a lower ohm coil, less wraps to possibly short out. You can try the rolling paper method, it does help. Even after I got my ss mesh working great I really didn't like that it...
Oh and I have a tip for anyone working with menthol crystals (comes in solid crystals). I was crushing them and then mixing it in my mixes, but I found a better and easier way.
After you are done adding all the ingredients, put the whole crystals into the bottle and close your bottle tight...
Woops, actually thought this was my other thread lol. Here is the page where the recipe is though. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/346908-wizard-labs-your-favorite-flavors-14.html
Damn my Tropic Spice recipe is good, the cola flavor ties everything together perfect. I mixed a 10ml batch on Friday afternoon and it's almost gone already lol.
