    Could be left over residue from burnt liquid causing the the bad taste. I came to this conclusion bc if you smoke tobacco (lol) from a glass pipe.... you get the same effect. A disgusting lighter fluid/residue tobacco (lol again) taste. Just an my opinion though...

    Why are drip tips so expensive?

    I would just try one of each, they are cheap enough to do this. I do prefer my extended delrin tip though. I have 3 short deltin tips and 2 short stainless steel tips. My extended delrin does me right.

    I would check to see if they a disclaimer about shipping. Whether it falls on them or it is "out of their" hands once they deliver it to the post office. Did they ship it already or is it lost within their facility?
