maybe you need some Ni Foam as an insulator against the rubber to prevent vacuum lock. i got a 4"x2" piece that i'll trade you half of for a good 1/8 AO wick :-P- Sniffle

I haven't touched the foam since i first messed with it. still have 1/2 the sheet left. I kinda wonder how it would go with SS rope as well... might have to pull try that since i don't have any AO wicks *hint* *hint* :-P- Sniffle

SouthernBliss covered what i was about to say. I am primarily a VG vaper, and i have actually dropped my VG ratios quite a bit just because of wicking and to lighten the VG taste that sometimes creeps up. I use SS cable without any issues at all :-) it shouldn't be a problem to convert them to spring/washer setup as well so long as you can find a small enough washer and spring to fit.- Sniffle
