    Vision Spinner dies quick now?

Try thoroughly cleaning both the charger and the batt contacts. They get dirty very fast and this affects the amount of charge they'll receive, at least in my experience.

American or European Made VV Mods List?

Isn't there at least one more? Oh yeah, Provari. Easy to overlook. :)

Dial in VV with good Cardo ANDhow boutATTY?

If you want reliable, consistent vapes in an ego form factor try a Vivi Nova mini (original Vision, not clones), Vision V3, Kanger T-2 or T-3. These clearos all work really well, last forever, and take most of the frustration out of vaping. If you want to get into RBAs that's another matter, but...

Am I the only one who doesn't think think the Provari is "all that"?

And there are reports of Provaris dead and dying. Sure, you can return them for repair, which is great, but they're not indestructible either...

Getting away from the Provari.. Recommend something to me..

Well, the Vamo is sort of a clone, but it does have multiple function buttons, is very well built, and uses 18350s. Get the stainless (around $50) if you go this route.

Am I the only one who doesn't think think the Provari is "all that"?

Thanks, SuzyQ. Nice post. But don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the Provari is somehow inferior, or doesn't live up to the hype (ok, well maybe I'm saying that a little), or won't provide a bullet-proof, lifetime vape. I'm simply comparing it with other, cheaper alternatives that for some may...

Am I the only one who doesn't think think the Provari is "all that"?

Yeah, hot ego batt syndrome. That's happened to me a couple of times. Those things are dangerous, seriously. Here's another tip: never carry a battery (18650, etc.) in your pocket with loose keys. Nearly burned a hole in my leg...

IVape Varitube X (Silver not chrome model)

You can fix these, but first you have to pry off the flat top, carefully push the center pin out (upwards), either reposition the old gasket or use a new one (should be same as those on a Vivi Nova head), and all without breaking the wires. Better have a soldering iron handy just in case. I've...

Am I the only one who doesn't think think the Provari is "all that"?

In all fairness I have had some mods that were pure garbage, the YJ being first and foremost, followed by a couple of egos, but generally I've also had good luck with most PVs. My original LT is still going strong as is my Vamo, so no complaints. Head units are another story entirely, but...

Which Provari is that in your icon photo? I really want it! Where's the readout? Other side?

Haha, you may be a forum moderator (guess that makes you a mod), but I doubt you're qualified to pass medical judgement on anyone. Unless you're also a psychiatrist. Are you? Yeah... Anyway, I don't lose things as a matter of course; this situation occurred during a trade show where you're...

Am I the only one who doesn't think think the Provari is "all that"?

That's fair enough. See, we can all get along. But if I had a Provari it would now be somewhere in Anaheim collecting dust in a corporate drawer. That's how careless I tend to be.

Am I the only one who doesn't think think the Provari is "all that"?

Well, if you read the thread's title you'll see it wasn't entirely unbiased... But if forums (fora?) are intended to be completely objective, we're gonna have to shut this one down. Now.

Sure. Are you reliable yet cheap?

Then don't carry an unreliable, cheap piece of crap - carry a reliable cheap piece of crap. That's what I do.

Had a Provari for two years - Fiancee needs APV, help?

You know, I was happiest when I still had my ego with booster. Sweet setup. Just turn the dial and fine tune your vape in seconds. Days of yore... I think Buzz has about a billion blowout protective measures built in, and, while there is no display, the idea of a simple wheel is pretty...

Am I the only one who doesn't think think the Provari is "all that"?

That's a very Zen-like attitude which I admire, but in the real world we all need our nic, and without a PV we're likely to go out and buy analogs. If money's no object, sure, buy a dozen Provaris and live large. If it is, other measures might be appropriate. As for the other analogies, a house...

Bad PWM is like bad Scotch - not worth drinking/vaping at any price. Try a YJ sometime - omg! Horrible.

Had a Provari for two years - Fiancee needs APV, help?

In any case, all of the mods mentioned will work fine. If you can scrape up a few extra bucks, go with the Provari. If not, the others will serve her well too. The real challenge is finding a carto/atty/tank/clearo/etc. that she can live with. That's the principle hurdle for new vapers. It's...
