    Need help with YJ

Call the vendor and send it back. Sounds clearly defective.

    Easy LT button fix

Very true. Deoxit's the gold standard, although a bit more pricey than generic cleaners.

    Vape button on L-R

Spray the button with electrical contact cleaner, both inside and outside the tube. You can't replace the button, but you can maintain it.

L-Rider Lavatube 4.0 VS Volcano Lavatube VS Apollo VTube

For me, the voltage drop-off on the L-Rider versions takes the comparison from toss-up to deal-breaker. Not all the L-Riders are copper; most are aluminium and they have that problematic spring-loaded center pin as well. Plus they don't work with deep reach cartos like the Stardust. But of...

L-Rider Lavatube 4.0 VS Volcano Lavatube VS Apollo VTube

Pete Busardo has a couple of videos comparing the Young June and L-Rider LTs. Basically the Young June outperforms the L-Rider in terms of voltage drop through the battery's charge. Uses a PWM system similar to the Provari. That's reason enough to choose it.

    Intermitent firing Black V-Tube

Spray the button, both inside and outside the tube, with electrical contact cleaner. Should fix it right up.

    sticky button

Blast it with electrical contact cleaner, both inside and outside the tube. This will also fix the dreaded misfiring problem that so many LTs suffer from.

    Lambo (Lavatube) V2 Chrome review

With the Young June you click the readout button five or six times and the current voltage will display. Not sure if it's the same with the Lambo, but try it.

life expectancy for smoktech dual-coil 1.5-ohm?

It is typical, and if you're using a dark, sweet juice, expected. You can try running a paperclip through the bottom hole (carefully) to clear the air passage, but once they start clogging the commedia is pretty much finita (operatically speaking).

    Juice and Carto Life Expectancy

So generally I get about three days out of a given carto, whether it be Boge, Kanger, Smoketech, whatever. First day is usually tasty, second functional, third flavorless, fourth - dead. Imagine my surprise when, after receiving a juice order from vapeBig, loading up my last 2 ohm Boge XL, and...

This is just a FYI on a battery for a Lavatube

Protected batteries are usually too long for the LT. You don't need the added circuit board if you use an IMR like the AW or Panasonic. That's what the device was designed for.

    Easy LT button fix

Yeah, but I'm not sure what effect it would have on the electrical contacts. Might leave a residue, but it's probably ok.

    Easy LT button fix

I posted this fix as a reply to another thread, but thought it might warrant its own since it seems to be such a common problem. So, as you all know, the firing button frequently refuses to work, causing no end of frustration and sore thumbs. Why this occurs is a mystery (to me, at least), but...

    Lavatube misfire problem getting worse!

Here's the fix I used: get some electrical contact cleaner with a long tube which you can attach to the nozzle. Most come with these anyway. Place the tube up against the switch (inside the unit) and give it a couple of good blasts. Cleared mine up right away.

    The Amazing Automatic Drip-o-mizer!!

Here's another wild and wacky idea: remove the polyfill and stuff some steel wool in the cart. Seems to work fine - no shorts (tested meticulously on an ohm meter before firing). Use the super fine stuff (0000). Tear or cut into small strips and distribute evenly around the perimeter. Don't...

    The Amazing Automatic Drip-o-mizer!!

As Alfred E. Newman used to say, "Nothing are perfect." Granted that you won't get the the long intervals between fills as you would with a standard tank-cart setup, but the purpose was more to eliminate the problems with polyfill than anything else. I was after better taste, and this system...

    The Amazing Automatic Drip-o-mizer!!

Well, this is a brave new frontier in vaping, haha. I'm currently trying a mini tank on an XL cart. Gives me plenty of room to slide without worrying about moving it too far and spilling juice everywhere. Remember, don't fill more than a quarter way or so. Keep the pressure low.

    The Amazing Automatic Drip-o-mizer!!

Aw shucks... maybe a demi-god... :) But yeah, punching the Kangers really improves the draw, since the built-in airholes are way too small.

    The Amazing Automatic Drip-o-mizer!!

My sincerest sympathies. This is where the experimentation comes in. You may have to use a thicker juice or move the tank up over the hole a bit. I sometime take a couple of hits then cover the hole entirely. When it starts to run dry, just slide the tank down and repeat. Thanks for the kudos...

    The Amazing Automatic Drip-o-mizer!!

Update: With a little careful fiddling I've been able to get the fill out of Boges without yanking up the electricals. Now I find that these actually draw a bit better than the Kangers (which also work fine), so I'm changing my cart recommendation. Live and learn. Another inexplicable...
