how can i test a carto without putting juice in it?

Not if you only tap the button. They don't heat up that fast.

    Boge Cartomizer lifespan?

I started a thread explaining my "secret method" for extending cart life - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/atomizer-cartomizer-tank-discussion/255625-maximizing-your-carts-lifespan.html

how can i test a carto without putting juice in it?

Test is a relative word, but if you just want to know if it heats or not, hit the button for a second and listen for crackling, hissing, etc. If you hear it, it's good, or at least not entirely non-functioning.

Triple Coil Cartomizer from CLOUDSOFVAPOR --- Get'em while they're HOT!

Hmm, looks like a SmokTech product. I hate their stuff - works great for about 5 minutes then tragic disappointment and buyer's remorse... MHO only, of course.

What is the best way to vape with cartomizers??

If you use the condom method correctly you don't really waste much juice. After filling, blow through the cart into the condom, shake cart well, spin it around a few times, blow again and vape. Whatever juice is left in the condom is added to the next fill.

    Maximizing Your Cart's Lifespan

After throwing away countless carts with only a week's mileage or so (sometimes longer, usually not), I figured there has to be a way to make these things last and perform decently for at least a month or longer. As we all know, the first symptom of a dying cart is the dreaded "stuffiness"...

    sick of eGo batts!

One more thing: if you're a serious vaper you need to have several batts on hand at all times. I never leave home without at least three, all fully charged. This way it doesn't matter how long any particular one lasts; I've always got enough in reserve to get me through at least two days. You...

    sick of eGo batts!

Don't forget to clean the connections occasionally. If they gunk up too much the batt either won't charge at all or incompletely. I've gotten a couple of "dead" batts free from the unsuspecting... :)

Newbie here - Should I get Resurrector or Boge?

They all get hard over time. Nature of the device. The only problem I've found with the Resurrector is that some juices seem to kill 'em. I used a cocoa flavored VG mixed with some other PG juice and wham! - totally burned taste which nothing would cure. Tried it again with a new one and same...

    E-Power vs KGO

Those are kind of low readings for both batts. Have you checked the resistance in your meter leads?

Vaporluxe Rev. 2 variable voltage mod

    Can anyone identify this mod?

Looks like a homemade Radio Shack battery box mod. And the past is about 2 years in this industry, so don't get too nostalgic... :)

    Mod Newby

My favorite's an ego type B atty, and I think I've tried them all (total lie). But it seems true that tanks, clears, etc. don't hit as well as a good atty, and in my experience nothing hits as well as a type B, since I'm not really into dripping. You will need an ego adapter for use on a...

Vaporluxe Rev. 2 variable voltage mod

The only objection I'd have (and this would be a fairly large one) is that it won't go lower than 4.3v. Admittedly this isn't very high, but some attys and carts work better at lower voltages. A VV mod should run the gamut from 3.5 or so on up. I think you'd be better off with a Provari since...

    A little depressed

I get the best results from the ego mega type B. But if you're using genuine Joye batts, remember that they top out at 3.2v. I feel that true vaping doesn't begin till 3.7v minimum. You might want to try a mod that uses replaceable batts, or go to an ego clone such as the KGO. Most of these put...

Ego Tank VS. Ego Mega... ?

I personally prefer the Type B with a regular cartridge (non-tank). No leaks, better wicking, and great hit + vapor. I'm not super jazzed by the EMDCC, but then I kind of hate cartomizers generally. They're great on the first fill but progressively worse thereafter. Of course, I use 100% VG so...

    Ego Mega Atomizer Type A

Btw, I still have one that I tried to burn. It now registers 800 ohms. Anyone have a 110v AC mod which needs a new atty? :)

    Ego Mega Atomizer Type A

I've found that nothing kills a Type B faster than dry burning. If it's gurgling too much, just remove the cart and blow it out till it's dry. Also, avoid dark juices - another coil killer. Otherwise they're great, and better @ 3.7-4v. Best hit of anything I've tried so far.
