    Ego Booster???

Happyvaper.com has them. They're made in Canada (or sold there at least). I started a thread in the mods section which you might want to check out. They work great, handle more power than a Provari, and work with any genuine Joye ego battery and most mods. Very economical @ around $70 including...

Looking for a VV Mod - Currently using an epower 14650

Agreed. The Buzz is definitely a very nice mod. I'd probably get it over the ProVari. But it's gonna set you back $140, so if you want something more affordable get the Ego Booster. Works great with the E-Power, especially if you use AW IMR batts.

Here's my research paper on e-cigarettes for your enjoyment

Actually, it's possible to do both, but not required. Maybe all the people who complain about this atty, or that cart, or the other batt should stop whining and build their own, no? Or does criticism ever serve a purpose? Perhaps we should all be cheerleaders all the time? So many existential...

Looking for a VV Mod - Currently using an epower 14650

Get an ego booster for $60 and you've got a VV mod with the stuff you already own.

Here's my research paper on e-cigarettes for your enjoyment

Hmmm... back in my day even English assignments had to be defensible and fact-based. If things have changed I withdraw my comments. But asking me to submit my own thesis is like demanding a film critic make a better movie than the one he's reviewing. Non sequitur, as it were...

Here's my research paper on e-cigarettes for your enjoyment

Nice approach, but many of your assertions are incomplete or dubious. A little more research and less reliance on the particular sources cited might have made this a much better paper.

    E-Power vs KGO

Ego clones all run at 3.7-4v, as far as I've seen. Only the real ones are 3.2. And the KGO is an ego clone.

    E-Power vs KGO

The KGO, as I understand it, is an SLB 1100 batt, so it's really no different from any of the other ego clones. E-Power, on the other hand, uses replaceable batteries like the 18650 so it's kind of a different ballgame. I've had problems with the power button on the 18650 version but I hear...

    Ego Booster Plug

Although, when you think about it, a pipe bomb might make for a hell of a vape... Hey, you could offer Provaris to condemned prisoners awaiting the firing squad! Take a hit - boom! Saves bullets too.

    Ego Booster Plug

As I said, it works on genuine Joye egos. So if you have one, you can test it. But if you've already got a Provari, why bother, unless the form factor of same is a little annoying (read: too damn f'ing big).

    Duel Coil Atty

Dual coils actually have two elements that usually run a 3 ohms in parallel. Even though the total resistance is 1.5, they work better at higher voltages so you should be fine with a HV or VV mod.

    What is the next step???

Happyvaper.com sells the Ego Booster. About $70 to the US with shipping.

    Ego Booster Plug

It actually seems to work best on a large IMR battery. In terms of the ego format, it ONLY works on PWMs. Using it on an ego clone is dangerous, as I found out. The booster will throw 'em into thermal runaway pretty damn quick, and while mine didn't explode it was sure getting hot enough to...

    E-Power 18650

They all work, but AW is widely viewed as the best. IMR batts are usually recommended by variable voltage mfgrs due their consistent and reliable current output.

    E-Power 18650

Suggested by whom? They're all fine, with some brands being better than others. I personally (and many others) prefer the AW IMR batts, which are high-drain but lower mah. More current, or so the theory goes...

    Ego Booster Plug

Yeah, it really shines with the big batts. Just makes a lot of sense since you're not limited to the few and pricey VV mods currently available, so in essence any mod you choose becomes VV.

    Confusion with mods.

Get an Ego Booster since you already have the Joye battery. 3.2-4.7v. $70 with shipping and you avoid the money pit which vaping can quickly become. Plus, if you decide to get a real mod at some point you can still use the booster and make the new unit that much better.

    What is the next step???

Here's what I did: first, change your analog brand. In other words, go to something you hate. My suggestion - American Spirit organics. These have no additional addictive chemicals and they taste terrible. Perfect. Next, go to a 36mg liquid. Really power up the juice. Then, get an Ego Booster...

    Ego Booster Plug

It uses a "buck booster" to regulate the voltage between 3.2 and 4.7v. No battery inside. It does drain the batt a little faster; you lose about 25% of the charge, but on a big batt it's not a huge deal. Doesn't interfere with the batt's circuitry as far as I can tell, but don't use it on an SLB...
