    off center should not be a issue with the carto working or not. most of the smok tec cartos I have used are off center. you should meter the carto before filling or using. so you know it is good or not.

    with LR cartos 2.0 ohms and less I fire my 3.7 volt mods for a second or two before I take a toot (drag). this gives the coil a change to get hot and makes a much better vape. when I use a mod like 5 volts I don't have the need to fire the mod before vaping because the coil heats up much faster.

    I have found when the draw is too tight, just raise the tank just ever so slighlyt on the carto. this allows for more air flow and should solve the tight draw.
