I had a problem with the button.... it would fire fine, then it wouldn't fire at all (seconds later), and I'd push so hard the bottom would fall out and it still wouldn't fire. It drove me nuts, so I tried everything in the bag. In the bag was the bee button I had made, and Peter had returned...
What made the fuse pop this morning? (maybe it was short, and finally blew)?
I had firing issues last nite and today too for a bit... then I put ox-gard on everything, and so far so good:).
And the wood did shrink the space... I took the paper out this morning, and almost no rattle:).
I just made a button on top of the current bb button, because I wanted it raised to be easier to find by feel:). That way, I can just knock it off if I don't want it anymore:).
Well, I don't know the reasons... but the MVP was my FIRST mod ever, and the Provari was my first big mod, and that was the very first thing I noticed, BIG difference on larger atomizers (but not as notable difference on small ones like cartos).
Someone explained this a while ago... at least to my satisfaction. While I cant' give you the full argument, it had something to do with the Provari having a 'continous pulse' vs a bouncy one from almost every other mod. Maybe one of the people who explained it will see this:).
True... that's what I said about the dibi too. But I can't make those changes. On the other hand, you bought the dibi to use.... and if it's #2 for you because it's not what you want to use...
I only decorate mods where something about it bothers me, or to make doing something easier, or I...
Easy way to find out... just stick a stock carto or protank or any commercial head of known ohm on it... they are generally tested for accuracy, and all work out right on my ohm meters. But it doesn't sound like the ohmmeter is the problem here either:P.
Well, that was just an example... I don't see any for sale now, but a couple of months ago, there were some corncob blocks. Then I saw the knife handles they made. OMFG.
Here's one I found:
Here's a corncob pocketknife:
Here's a corn cob stabilized sold block I found, the corn cob pattern...
Turbo, you are fortunate to be ABLE to mod like that... so if you ask me, I'd say go for it. Nothing's as sad as wasted talent:P. You spent the first paragraph explaining how the Dibi is REALLY a modder's mod after all. Then used my argument that you can't improve on it because it was so nice...
I'd love to know if you can do resin cast... this looks interesting, but there's all different kinds:
Stabilized Pine Cone Cast Resin Knife Scales Blanks Wood Handle Material EB394 | eBay
That looks a bit like my bogger box, but red instead of blue...
UNLESS you could use the whole face of it... then it would look like a giant guppy looking at its about to hatch egg:P.
