    thanks river, put that on the lathe, cut it and tapped it. Not to hard, fits really nice in the hand and pocket.

    Thats the steel window that replaces the clear ody window for the long mode ody. I am just using it in medium mode.

    Unless you where in the army and had a job with ordinance, I don't think anyone that sees it would know exactly what it is. There are people that look at me weird with just my normal ecig. I was in the Army from 91 to 95. I worked in the motor pool and I never saw one of these M81. I think...

    Black should go from the outside of the atty to the neg side of the battery. White wire goes to an LED if you have one . If not then cut it off or cap it so it doesn't touch anything.

    From the page on Mad Vapes.com ----> The red wire is for power, the black wire is ground and the white wire is your control wire and activates the blue LED on the circuit board.

    I did not see the black wire, it would make sense for that to be the neg, and the white to be for an LED. but asdaq seems to know more about this than I do.

    If i'm not mistaken, that is a vacuum activated switch. red wire gets positive ...white wire gets negative. when you draw on your atty/carto the switch activates. I don't know of many mods with this style switch on it. just the small auto ecigs.

    DNA20D Tube Mod

    Totally my fault with the display. Was a little to forceful trying to slide the assembly I made in the tube. It caught the side and I slipped, pushed it right into the screen. I should have a replacement this week, Monday, or Tuesday.

    Thought since I was using some GG parts and basic design to make this, I would post it here too. This is not the finished product quite yet. I'm putting a DNA20D in this. still needs the window for the display and buttons. And of course a really good polishing to finish it off. [/IMG]

    DNA20D Tube Mod

    I have been working on this for maybe a month now. I started with a 1" aluminum tube. Cut, turned, and tapped to fit some GG parts and pieces. I like my GG's so I couldn't think of a different way to make a mod to accept a DNA20D. So far I have the tube all set... I still need to drill...

    No need for the negative to go to the switch. negative should go from outside of atty connector to negative battery terminal. Positive from battery terminal to switch then from switch to inside atty connector. LED looks fine.

    He did say he disconnected the ground wire. But it looks like the negative wire is coming from the battery to the switch.

    Yeah, try to get some closer pics of the wires and connections. Where they are going to and coming from.
