The battery state of charge you see on the main screen isn't the IQ. That's at the very end of the A up or A down menu selection and deals with battery health (and device resistance), not state of charge from what I'm seeing. Regarding the battery meter… when I pull them out at 50%, they're...

Regular Atty Drippers (A Dying Breed?)

If you are looking for an atty for a REO, Rob has them you can pick up at a good price with other REO parts/accessories. I've also used the Empire Mods 1.5Ω you link to on a mechanical mod and it would be better for a REO Grand.,However, I just reordered 8 of their 1.8Ω for my regulated mod...

I'm really surprised how quickly and easily the P3 has slipped into my routine... it's like I've been using the menu forever... I don't think about it, I just instinctively use it, and it's up on 3 now. After a only a few days, the P3 isn't "new" but more like an old comfortable pair of shoes...

I am using LR cartos from Boge and Ikenvape. They are supposed to be 2.0Ω, but many range between 2.1 and 2.2Ω. The 2.2Ω I'm using right now gets what ProVape refers to as a warning, and according to them is supposed to get reduced boost. I'll have to get an inline voltmeter to verify that's the...

This is widely espoused, but it's wrong. Higher ohms call for higher voltage and voltage higher than that of the battery increases the amp draw from the battery. There are two circuits in a regulated mod, the input and the output, which can have different currents. Just because you lower the...

We all do, Jim. The tiny 6 ml tanked device I take out of the house daily applies a bit of fresh juice to the coil just like a dripper. But because this is ProVape's company forum, I extend them the courtesy of not promoting it here. I also use IBTanked cartos and Sophias around the house on...

Jim, if you buy one of these, I'd stick with 1.5Ω for use with the P3's BoosT. Just because a clearomizer head is labeled Cisco-spec doesn't mean it's going to perform like a dripper such as the HH 357. The major advantage of a dripper is you're dripping only a coupla drops at a time onto a...

I see an opportunity for them to sell gold-plated springs :D Seriously… I appreciate knowing that. Edit again: I REALLY appreciate the default menu speed being slower. Those who can use faster can easily change that. OTOH, for some of us, slowing down a fast menu could be a challenge!

I've definitely been keeping track of the BoosT error, particularly those reporting 2.0 and 2.1… and it looks like 2.0 is the high limit, at least so far. I've also been following the IQ posts as best I can. From them, 96 seems a reasonable goal with a healthy battery. I did not get that...

First…. Congratulations on your new P3, Peter. :) Have you tried screwing/winding/rotating the Tatro spring in the base to improve spring/base contact? Thanks for that data point!

When it flashes the error icon, it adds it to the end of the main menu. Click on that and it will tell you what the problem and the fix are.

That is immensely helpful, Reg! Thank you! So it appears it was in 35 as well... just not reported here (that I saw). It also isn't a biggie with me since I build at 1.8Ω and below, and am not likely to boost a carto. So grateful!

I think this is a "feature" of version 36. Another member here was actually the first to experience it before I did. I've seen 1.8Ω and 2.5Ω clearomizer heads, as well as 2.0Ω (LR) cartos, actually 0.2Ω higher than rated.

Thanks! The BoosT error with more than X.XΩ appears to have come with version 36. All I've been able to test is 1.8 (good) and 2.2 (error). Robino1 has seen no error at 2.0.
