Well, I'm still playing with my P3. Went through 2 ml of juice at 1.6Ω/10.0W/4.0V/2B and took the 1600 mAH 18650 down to 53%. Workin' on seeing where it falls at the end of 4 ml. Edit FWIW, it's about 58 ring gauge. With a 45 mm atty/tank and 15 mm drip tip, right at 7-1/8" an 1/8" over... -

I'm right handed, but vape left-handed most of the time while mousing, shifting, etc. Why should I have to select left hand/right hand from a menu? In this day and age the ProVari should detect which hand it's in and automatically orient the display. Whine whine whine :D -

I think it was ProVape who said the P3 is like an automatic transmission. If the atty resistance changes, VW adjusts for that. I'll note it also has Paddle Shifters Variable Voltage if you want to shift adjust it yourself. :D -

Well, the 1.8Ω Empire Mods bridgeless atty lasted a few hours shy of a week. That's pretty good considering half that use was a dirty NET (Apache). The P3 has been an excellent power supply for dripping. The P3 is now supporting one of my Sophias in a 19mm x 45mm IBTanked stainless cap setup... -

I gotcha. I guess I've unconsciously developed the habit of pressing the button a half second before I vape… always had vapor on the first puff. No wonder boost is shoving vapor into my mouth. Edit: Yeah… I think it must be the sizzle that triggers me to inhale. -

I've never used primer puffs… except on the auto-battery 510 I built for my wife. But then I don't vape into my lungs either (pipe/cigar smoker). :confused: -

ProVape claims resistance higher than 2.1Ω will give the warning, but still provide reduced boost. I have some LR (2.0Ω spec) Boge or IkenVape cartos that measure at 2.2Ω and they do error warn. I can't tell if there's any boost or not. -

Data Point: At 5% battery and Boost Off, it would fire at 18.2W, 4.7V into a 1.2Ω load and 4.8V into a 1.3Ω load... but not higher. IQ 95 FWIW I was wondering if it could still hit 20 watts if almost dead. The answer is no. But on the other hand, cranking it up to these high watts didn't... -

I've run a few 18650s to zero/shut down now. Only once did I see the flashing button at 1% or so because it's on the far side and I'm literally never looking at the button. FWIW, Bronze is measuring 3.3V on an empty 1100 mAH 18490 and I'm measuring 3.1V on an empty 1600 mAH 18650. -

I assume you mean higher than an 18650. In my case, the 1100 mAH AW IMR 18490s have a significantly lower IQ than my 1600 mAH AW IMR 18650s. But the 490s have more cycles and the 1600 mAH has a much higher amp rating than the typical 2000 mAH AW IMR 18650s. -

I always buy batteries in threes... one to vape while the one I just finished is charging with the one I forgot to recharge. IOW, backup for my backup.
