A question for VV owners from a truly lazy man.

Top--Bottom, Bottom--Top? Maybe it has to do with egalitarianism? Whatever that means.

VVGrand Battery Drain All the Time?

Thanks guys, good info. Will use the on/off switch from now on. Tried both batts on the I2 charger and it was a no-go. Put both then on the Pila and it just finished both. MM-ed them at 4,19 and 4,18 volts and I feel I lucked out this time. So, all's cool.

VVGrand Battery Drain All the Time?

Put 2 new 18350s-AW IMR in my VVGrand a week ago and it sat all week, never used it. Grabbed it tonight and hit the fire button and it didn't fire. Pulled batts and checked with MM and one was 0.23v, the other 1.04v. Hopefully they'll take a charge. Does the VVGrand steadily drain electricity...

    Possible Option? Maybe?

Hi Rob and all, I'm really enjoying my Grand and VVGrand, my wife loves her Grand. One thing we wondered, due to the fact we are sorta fumble fingered and arthritic, is could it be possible to offer an option to have the squonk window as shown below, wrapping from the backside around the...

    wrapping coils. fact or fiction?

Well OK, F A, how do you wrap your coils? I make a bunch of coils at one time, none of them "hobby" category, just plain old coils. My hands, eyes ain't what they used to be, As far as being gross, my wife says I'm gross.

    wrapping coils. fact or fiction?

Yep, did the same darn thing, used a wing-nut to make holding the tail end tight. Crude copy of DZ's beautiful work, but, it works well.

I also use 100% VG and have had no problems in the 3+ months I've been using the RM2s.

PILA Charger-- Very Warm Batts. when done.

Thanks, points well noted. And thanks to all who responded. I am wondering if it might be good to put just a wee bit of Noalox on the connection points and the extension plug thingeys in the Pila? I do like that it charges quickly, very handy.

PILA Charger-- Very Warm Batts. when done.

Well, here's the link to the one I got. Battery Chargers : Pila IBC Charger I guess I'll just have to watch it carefully. Hope it doesn't kill the batts. earlier than they should. I've got some old batts. that are old enough to vote. Well, maybe not that old.

PILA Charger-- Very Warm Batts. when done.

The 18650s are the 1600mAh (5.9WH) I got from RTD, also the 18350s are from same source. Sooooo...........? I dunno. The batteries do get charged in notably less time than on say the Trustfire charger.

PILA Charger-- Very Warm Batts. when done.

There are no switches or such, that allow any rate other than what the PILA is fixed at at time of manufacture. The 18650s both test at 4.21volt, the 18350s both show 4.18volts. On the underside of the PILA an embossment says: "DC OUT 4.2V/600mA x 2"
