Shadow didn't work for me either. To quote Juicy, it's nasty.
Down to one NET? You must have really cleaned out the stash box! You need a care shipment?
My Acid Kuba Deluxe came out great! Blondie is soaking now. Using a cold soak, the juice is really light in color but very flavorful! Good luck with yours!
I switched to the room temp (cold soak) method for a couple of reasons. First, my crockpot gets hot enough to carmelize some of the sugars in tobacco blends. Carmelization makes the juice a little sweeter and adds a bit of a toasted flavor. I get the same slightly "muddy" taste from some...
Ian, the temperature in the room where my soaks are is typically in the mid 60s during winter. It hit 84 in here earlier this week and I'd guess that might speed things up a bit.
I haven't run any soaks past 35 days and I'm happy with the level of flavor achieved. I have pulled small samples...
I recently read (don't remember where) that many of the private label tobaccos in small shops are rebranded blends. Not surprising really.
Sunset Rum is a wonderful flavor, great for when you want something flavorful and easy on the buds.
I don't know if you found it yet but we discuss extracted tobaccos on this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/519685-natural-tobaccos-part-deux.html. We also discuss gear and what works best with the NETs we love.

Cooperation is more fun than competition in the vaping world. I wouldn't trade my headaches for Clay's right now!
I've had the privilege of exchanging quite a few extracts with Bill and they're all good! We've got another double coming up as I ordered Louisiana Red literally within hours of...
Here is a thread Jerms started for collecting microcoil videos and it includes wicking also. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/472178-micro-coil-videos.html
I wrap microcoils on a 1/16 inch mandrel. Placement of the coil (horizontally)out close to the air intake hole is...
This explains why heat extractions seem to always be darker than room temp extractions. I've been using the room temp soak to avoid the carmelized color and taste.
Craig, it's good to see someone with more tobacco knowledge here. If you don't mind, some of us might seek your advice.
I bought a box of the sterile rolled cotton from CVS and used it for almost a year. Barely put a dent in it. If anyone would like to try some, PM me and I'll send you a big chunk.
I now use Koh Gen Do cotton and prefer it to any others I have tried.
