    Good luck, hope it works for you. My biggest challenges have been tobacco selection and filtration. Once I got the filtration down, I just shop for blends that sound good and wait for them to soak.:D

    I'm getting plenty of flavor at 28 days. I pulled small samples of the last batches at around 18 days and it was good, just not quite full strength. Some are going as long as 60 days but I'm happy with 28.

    I like strong flavors so I mix most extracts at around 20%. Ten to fifteen percent will provide a more subtle flavor. Some extracts come out a bit stronger, some not so much so a bit of experimentation gets the flavor density dialed in.

    Ian, I think you can safely filter now. Fresh mixed juice almost always lacks in flavor or at least mine do initially. Your tobacco to PG ratio is similar to what I use so I would say you will get good flavor by mixing 15 to 20 percent extract in your juice.

    I use only PG but currently use the cold method. All PG will work fine with the slow cooker method and it filters much easier than a VG blend.
