    Some of my extracts are fairly dark, particularly the ones I did by Scarf's method, but none are "cloudy". I'd guess it is from another of the ingredients, none of which should look like that.

    Pipe tobacco and Cigar extraction

    I use 11 micron filter paper followed by 6 micron. Pleat the round filters and drop into a funnel. First pass is through a coffee filter. Easier and more effective for me than syringing through cotton.
