    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

Firephly, it's cool that you're digging up tobacco info. Welcome to the club. We've had to do a lot of reading here as most of us had little or no tobacco knowledge to start with. I read anything from the New York Times somewhat skeptically. In this case, the reporter read an article in...

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

Agree with Jerms' assessment. I like FVF RY4 more than he does but it is right at the limit of sweetness I can tolerate.

I probably will eventually. Any suggestions? These things look and smell so nice it almost seems a shame to cut em up but....I don't smoke anymore!:D

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

Glad to hear Clay is on the mend and wish him the best. Great vape mail today! Makings for five new extracts. Two Acid cigars, and three pipe tobaccos. One is Gawith and Hogarth Blak Irish X, a completely black, very strong, twist tobacco. It looks and smells mean!

With a rebuildable you just dryburn and rewick, much easier than trying to clean cartos or tanks. I can do it quicker than you can unscrew a carto and get to the kitchen sink! :) ETA: Less than $20 worth of cotton (wick) and wire will last virtually forever also.

You're still using cartos, right? I ran NETs in mega cartos for 6 months and it is an expensive PITA! I was constantly ordering boxes of the damn things only to choke them to a pretty quick death. Do yourself a favor and upgrade. I'd recommend a decent mecanical mod and a small chambered...

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

The term "English Blend" has been .......ized to the point of meaning any blend containing Latakia. Obviously, a blend that would meet the old English purity laws would not have a cherry flavoring. However, many English blends contain a fair amount of Virginia tobacco which is high in sugar...

    REOmizer ceramic discoloration

I vape mostly home brewed NETs and my deck is quite dark. Looks bad, works fine.

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

Acadian Gold is a Virginia/Perique blend. There are a few RYO Va/Per blends out there and a lot of pipe Va/Per blends. Acadian refers to the Perique as it is grown in Acadia.

I've been waiting to see how you would list all of your home brews in that thread so I could just copy it. I've got twelve but that's still a long list if you include any kind of descriptions. I am also going to extract some cigars, starting with a couple of ACIDs since I'm impressed...

The REO Lounge - Part IV

I was working on the kitchen in an office building today (while no one was there), carried in a bunch of materials and tools, got down to business. Made a run to get a few things I didn't get there on the first run, carried in my Reo and an armload including the building keys, went back to the...

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

Kudos to Brian for upping his game with more accurate descriptions! Sadly, I think we are a small minority in wanting accurate, detailed descriptions! "It's the bomb" or "Wow" and other such drivel seems to work for the majority. Also, if there are any vendors listening, clean up the spelling...

Seven new Fog Sauces are sure to be interesting! I haven't dun a dibby crack in a while, just change out the wick more often and long before 4.5 mls of anything lately! When the flavor drops, I burn and rewick. Just got back to rockin 26 g Nichrome coils, 10 to 12 wraps on 1/16 bit. Switched...

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

Sampling your way through all the great NETs available now is a costly and long process but so worth it. Imagine if you only ordered from a couple of vendors and stopped sampling. You'd miss a ton of good juices! I got to the point where I felt like it was time to start weeding out a few...

Running Dagwood's Wife is Trippin' on a .61Ω micro in my IGO S tonight. I'm lovin this stuff! Such a clear, easy to vape flavor it has become my favorite cigar juice easily. To be honest, if I didn't know it is a cigar extraction, I'm not sure I could tell as it is so different than any...

    Casing/Toppings?

That Mississippi River blend sounds interesting. I have extracted a couple of similar tobaccos with success. Heavier cased tobaccos do seem to create gunkier extract but filtration of particulates affects performance more. If you do a heat assisted extraction, be careful not to get it too...

One of my next extractions is going to be a dark fired Kentucky tobacco that is rated as "aggressive" and "not for the timid" at Pipes and Cigars dot com. I hope the result is similar to Fire Cured Burley. We will see.

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

I would recommend Fire Cured Burley from NET.com. Nice smokey flavor and a bit different than the 2 you mentioned. Also any blend with Latakia in it will have a smokey flavor.
