It depends how hot your wire gets. E-liquid will have a specific temperature at which it evaporates. Imagine it on a large scale. A giant (and I mean giant, think like 3 feet in diameter) "ugly coil" would be entirely ineffective, because it would not get hot enough to vaporize the e-liquid in... -

Micros and nanos are great at higher ohmage. For example, a 10 wrap micro coil with 28G will put you around 1.0Ω or so, I believe (it's been a while). The whole benefit of micro coils is that you can achieve low-ish ohmage while still getting a great amount of surface area. Once you drop to... -

When I got my first mech, I went from 18mg down to 10mg, then shortly after that down to 8mg. Stuck that out for a while, but then I began getting a sore throat, at which point I moved down to 4mg. Just recently moved down to 3mg. 2mg doesn't quite do it for me yet. -
