Correct. A regular old pair of scissors will do. Make sure you have a rebuild kit handy. And yes, the fuse people use is generally a 10A car fuse. Mine is 15A, as a 10A blows in about a second with my build. Search: "what spring" by title only, author "pdib" -

So this has got me stumped. I've been using 26G Kanthal for a while. My dual coil builds have been 5/6 wraps on a 1/16" drill bit, and came out to 0.28Ω every single time. I just got a new roll of 26G in the mail, and now my 5/6 are reading in at 0.24Ω, and a 6/7 reads in at 0.28Ω. What's the...
