Correct. I switched the spring and no longer need the magnet, so I was expecting a performance upgrade as opposed to the alternative. Also, I filed my firing pin, and all my [new] batteries are performing equally poorly. Still at a loss. Perhaps I need to rebuild my RM2? Maybe my coils got... -

Forgot to mention, my coils aren't getting as hot as before. It's visually noticeable; that is, even with an extended press of the firing button, they don't get white hot. -

This isn't exactly true. I've had my Reo for a month and haven't gone above 0.5ohm. For the most part I like 0.3ohm. At 0.3ohm, however, I've suffered two melted buttons and a collapsed spring. I'm anticipating the new kits as anxiously as anyone, but in response to Cavere; it looks like you... -

I don't think it's a short. The spring isn't completely collapsed, just sagging a lot to the point that it doesn't press the battery up against the top of the mod. It holds the battery in place and I can still make a connection; I just have to press the button down really far. -

I got the black wrinkle with the purple metallic door. It's been about a month, and while the black wrinkle still looks pristine, the purple door has taken quite a beating. Guess mah jeans is hardcore... and probably jealous. -
