    my dad

Tidegirl, my wonderful Mom died of lung cancer, too. She'd have loved vaping. I know that I'm a crazy ecig evangelist - I figure I've probably given away over $800 worth of equipment - some of it to total strangers - but that's what drives it for me. Good for you, and give your Dad a hug for me.

    My twist is gone.....

If you're not freaked out about germs (an alcohol wipe would do it for me) you might want to see what happens after 24 hours. I dropped one of my Twists in the bathtub, along with a book, and as things were rather chaotic it even took me a while to fish it out. I shook it off, wrapped it in a...

calling all pros... need advice and info. liquids.. new setup.. etc.

Vision spinner for sure (very like the Ego twist but nicer dial, just feels and looks more elegant to me, too), and maybe Vivi Novas. I'm still waiting for the perfect, very straightforward, bug-free tank-for-dummies, because I hate fiddling. (The red spinner is really pretty - satiny metallic...

    juice and pricing

Those are lines I've seen on the Vaperev site - I haven't been able to find out anything at all about any of them, except that Vaping Monkey has disclosed that one of their juices contains diacetyl (good that that was disclosed, anyway)... do you actually know anything about where and by whom...

    the affects of e-juice?

I think "addiction" connotes something that must be struggled against - I chain-smoked and was constantly aware that I had to, that I wished I didn't, that it was making me sick, that I was an unwilling slave, that I was too slovenly and weak to endure the symptoms that, for me, were sustained...

Sound Off: Is taste purely subjective, or...

I'm thinking of Django Unchained. What do you do if some people say it's amoral and violent and crass and that the over-use of the ...... is gratuitous and offensive, and others say it's brilliant and satisfying and that the use of the ...... is historically accurate and powerful in a good way...

Sound Off: Is taste purely subjective, or...

Canned wolf, what's a review without a "subjective" judgement? It would have to read something like "chocolate. raspberry, I think. some people report that they like it.". Even saying "I tasted chemical something", or "weak" is getting subjective. If it's arguable, it's subjective. Again...

Sound Off: Is taste purely subjective, or...

I'd guess that it's the 'vegetative' taste in both coconut and celery that's discerned here. People's taste buds are usually more or less intelligent that way.

Ooh a simultaneous post, Mr Mann, except I was fixing my punctuation. To glasseye, also: Well, objective? Test one - IS it celery water, or does it contain celery water? That's the only truly "objective" standard. No? Then, Test two: Is it made with an artificial flavoring called "celery...

Sound Off: Is taste purely subjective, or...

This is in part a semantic problem. One difficulty seems to be that "taste" has two definitions (or sets of definitions) and some confusion arises when we use those interchangeably, as we consistently do: 1. Has to do with "The sense that distinguishes the sweet, sour, salty, and bitter...

Best Juice That Actually Has Nicotine Effects

That's a good thought, akatina. But with 36mg he/she ought to be experiencing SOMETHING... not too many people can handle that level without serious bluck.

Best Juice That Actually Has Nicotine Effects

Thirty-six is STRONG - too strong for the average vaper and many of us were pretty hardcore smokers. That level would make me ill. Either you somehow got a bum batch and should contact the vendor or... ?? You are getting proper hits and all? Very strange...

    I'm confused about cinnamon e-liquid

Kopfstimmen, here are pages and pages (and pages and pages) of conversation and good education about diacetyl from WAY back in this forum; search is easy. It's a valid concern and the conclusion is, who knows at this point re vaping it? As a community we seem to heartily disagree amongst...

    Favorite Vanilla E Juice

Highbrow's Vanilla Bourbon Bean (that's a kind of bean, of course, and not liquor) is very, very good for a straight-up vanilla - I've added it to other juices to up the 'bakery' taste. I've never found a plain vanilla that's very interesting on its own, which makes sense.

    Underrated E-Juice Suppliers

Yes. And on the other hand (I'm sitting here munching happily on left over Easter jelly beans) there really is an art to properly mixing familiar food flavorings, and that mixing seems to work out best when trying to mimic food products that are frankly 'artificially flavored'. Kick Bass, for...

A love letter to the Twist

Yup. Everything else is gathering dust. I have several now - and see my recent post on dropping one in the bathtub (no problem). I've dropped 'em on tile and generally manhandled 'em and really this is such a splendid, sturdy and pretty device. (Check out the red one if you can find one - it's a...

Accidentally submerged Ego Twist "dial" in liquid

Just stumbled on this and had to laugh - I dropped my Vision Spinner into the tub about an hour ago. It even took me a minute to fish it out because I dropped in a very large book simultaneously, a chaotic moment. I dried it with a towel blew it out whilst still in the tub and it was fine after...

Still confused what to upgrade to.

KGO's excellent. Vision Spinner is even better - and no less 'portable' at 650. I prefer both to the Ego C, myself. LOVE the spinner - it's simpler to adjust, prettier and more reliable than the KGO twist.

    Underrated E-Juice Suppliers

So many vendors make a huge splash in here for a while, presumably solidify their fanbase, and all but disappear from the headlines. Highbrow is still mentioned fairly frequently, and truly deserves to be - great stuff. Kickbass is a great line, especially if you love bakery and sweets, and...
