Right on Captain D!!
Sorry I cost you a coil :( lol. I don't feel too bad though.. when I started out on rba's it was more than a week, more than two dozen coils and more than a dozen AS mesh wicks before I got my first one to actually work at all and I finally got my first taste of dry SS...
edit - DISCLAIMER - you really shouldn't be doing this on an eGo type battery unless you are aware that shorting it out will almost definitely render your battery useless, or worse. You are taking a risk by using your eGo battery to power an RDA let alone dual coils. If this is your only device...
So.. about this "is that a bananna in your atty or.." coil..
You were saying before it is a little harsh and so I think it's because you are getting so much under-the-coil airflow. Wonder if it would mellow out if you angle the coil the opposite way, so the lower end is closer to the air hole...
Ribbon is fun and seems like it would be great for vapor production due to the flat surface but, in my experience it doesn't hold a candle to round wire. You should come check out the micro coil thread.. I think the results you seek can be found with a micro coil, you just might be blown away
What device are you putting this RDA on when you get it?
I understand your end goal but I think you're thinking about wrong. Like ZeroDisorder said this series coil is going to heat up slower and there really isn't any advantage to making two coils in series as opposed to making one really long...

If you are wanting to make multiple coils in series then you won't want to use more than two posts, unless I am missing the point.
Looks great!
Like AA said it'll hit a little harder if you hang it out by the air hole. Long legs are no problem with micros but they will add a tiny bit of resistance so you may want to use one less wrap around the wick. Having said that there is nothing wrong with the coil being closer to the...
I got the sickness too... bad, but I think I found the cure.
I'll post pics of my REOvirus antidote in a few days, when it gets here, delivered by USPS, with signature confirmation ;)
