How to feed wick through coils?

I need to get some different sized silica...mine's mostly 3mm. The 1mm pulled in fairly easy though so maybe it's not as hard as I'm making it out to be. My taste buds can't tell the difference between silica and cotton (except very slightly) and I've always enjoyed being able to just dry burn...

Cartomizer and Ohm meter (black box)

Or just sell one per order. You want multiple? Fine...get in line. It wouldn't be too bad if the kits were available but even those aren't in stock.

I just checked e-Bay and there are plenty there. Cheapest one is $40.

Yes, the RM2 really is THAT good

You are correct, sir...Cyclone on the left...and the two on the right are standard RM2s with the chrome/nickel plating sanded off. I did the work myself but Rob will do it for an extra $10 if you ask.

    ungettable things

I managed to snag one by hitting the website at just the right time. The reason they go so fast is that they are bought up in bulk by people that sell them on e-bay. Go to e-Bay and you'll find plenty...at rather inflated pricing.

Please Help Me With Shopping List

I concur with Nico...I've tested both at various resistances using the same mod and atty and voltage drop is the same. If you're not going to do a lot of sub-ohm the 2000 will work just fine although you can't really go wrong with either one. Even the 1600 lasts me most of the day using a 1.1...

    stupid coil question...

Yes, I think that helps. I'll use the flat end of a screwdriver on the outside and I'll push a drill bit or syringe through the center to clear that out. Even without the above though my Kanthal coils look almost brand new after dryburning. My Rene 41 coils, however, remain very, very dark.

Hmmm...I don't own a black one but I'm glad you like it. :) (takes opportunity for shameless plug) This is my gang:

Show us your girly, pretty, decorated, pink!

Nope. But I use micro-coils with a cotton wick and replace the wick every few days so there's not a lot of time for gunk to build up.

Yes, the RM2 really is THAT good

Hey, Jersey. I also converted from some of the more popular mods. Provari, Zenesis, a couple of Sigelei's, tons of carto-tanks, genny's etc. I wouldn't say the Reo is better than any of the above...at least not in the subjective sense...I just use it differently. I still fiddle with my other...

A copper vein Reogrand from reosmods.com. A bottom fed box mod. Fully mechanical but there are VV versions as well. This one takes an 18650 and the juice is fed from a 6 ml bottle in the base. You just squeeze it through a small hole in the back and the juice flows into the dripper. Excess...

PERFECT micro coils - start to finish video using the darkzero coil jig

Love it! The poor man's micro-coil jig. And it's portable...(unlike my vise).

If it looks like a mech mod, acts like a mech mod, isnt it a mech mod?

Correct. The most important variables in voltage drop are your atty and the internal resistance of the battery. I've tested this several times using various mechs being careful to always use the same atty and same battery on each device. The difference in voltage drop between my high end...

You're welcome. Mine go wonky too from time to time (IE or Firefox). Sometimes ya just gotta close 'em and open 'em back up again.

    Pictures of your setup

The two brass ones are Reomizers with the nickel plating sanded off. Probably the best dripper I've used to date (especially with micro-coils). These are modified specifically for the Reo but I imagine they would make a nice standalone dripper as well. They'll be back in stock on 9/9...

Roxy Boxy, new improved Sgt. Stryker, and more!

Egads...I would dive at the chance. Hmmm...He hooked me up with an olive drab Reo but I can't imagine what kind of subliminal machinations would be required to obtain a copper Reo...so I won't even try. But if he does...I promise to follow the rules:

    crazy me

Yup...mine does it too. I think just the act of pushing the button and/or using the locking ring tends to loosen it up over time. I can tell when it's time to tighten it again when the button gets wobbly and starts to catch. Not hard to fix...just annoying.

Hmmm...a c-clamp type contraption. I've been using a mini-vise that I use for my model airplanes but it's mounted to my desk. A small c-clamp might just do the trick. Great idea, TB.
